you can call and they will give you a list of the ages/sizes/needs of the children & sometimes the mothers as they often leave with the clothes on their backs and nothing else.... they furnish them food ...shelter....clothes...toiletries..etc and are on a tight budget as are all charities now...Due to the violent nature of the men looking for them they have to be very careful...sometimes you have to call a couple of times as the phone is used by several people

I want to tell all of you Dads on here I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day...I will miss mine tomorrow as he has been gone for 3 years now....but I had him for 58 years...He was always there for me and for many others ...He took on the responsibility to help friends & family too..The Lord blessed me with him and I hope he felt the same about me...I also wish my wonderful husband, the father of our daughter, all the very best... he deserves our love and respect and More...

I don't think anyone goes out thinking I am going to go & become an addict ....there has to be a starting point and I am not sure what each person's trigger is...a party...an injury ...a tragedy ...what causes some to be good and some evil... some people are followers and think they do what everyone else does...I don't understand it but I am glad it is not something I have not had to deal with on a close personal level....

I go about once ever 4 to 6 weeks to a grocery store & about every 2 or 3 weeks to Sams ...we do not cook a lot at home and Hubby eats lunch out 6 days a week...I usually get enough for dinner so I have left overs for lunch most days...Drive thru...quick meals ...and eat out a few times a week...it is easier with just the 2 of us...and my knobs on my stove are glued so he thinks the thing is broken

sometimes when they hit bottom...they find help in other ways...a friend's daughter was locked up and they got her a program & she is doing better ..never thought jail was the answer but is was for her..or at least for now it is working...prayers

my daughter use to work in that shopping center years ago...way before the Ave ....we still have friends that live near there and shop there so it is distressing to see and hear of it...prayers for the families

I am an only child & my daughter is too...so when something happens to my mom [dad died 3 yrs ago] it will be up to me, but at least there is no arguing like in many families..you are fortunate that your BIL was a good man and saved the things that he knew you would cherish...many would have just cleaned them out and moved on without thinking of your feelings...I also think that one should not stop living when someone else dies ..like said they are not coming back...I do feel a few months is a respect thing...and you can be discreet for a while..how many I do not know... just not leave the

my whippet would FREAK out during storms...she ate my mini blinds ...metal ones trying to get out the window once & she got in the car with someone during a storm ...she was gone for weeks and a friend saw her in someone's yard...they said they heard a car door and she showed up at there door crying....

we use to go every year to Crusinthecoast car show....it started in Ocean Springs and went to Bay St Louis with several towns in between..Biloxi was one of them...most of our fav eating places are gone..Dock Of The Bay in Bay St Louis...a Italian one in downtown Gulfport, Landry's in Gulfport.... McElroy's Biloxi & Ocean Springs were still there and one named Blow Fly Inn [name is not very appetizing ] but the food is great it is way out in the middle of no where but all the locals know it as well as famous chefs have visited ...Ocean Springs is a nice little town to walk around in art...
