my Grand dad use to have lots of chickens and he got some eggs & raised Araucana chickens ...Easter Egg Chickens most of the eggs had a bluish/greenish color...he also had Guinea fowls too..they were a pain as they were free range & hid their nests...if you put your hand in the nest to get the eggs they would leave the nest & not come back...you had to use a long handle spoon to get them and make sure you left a few there too...their eggs were smaller & very dark yolked...he had 100 acres but kept the chickens near the house in a coup & pen...smelly especially after a rain

so glad she is so much better ....I am so upset when one of my babies are sick or hurt....one of our boxers ran in front of a van and had 2 broke legs...butt came out of socket [had to be fused]...plates in back legs ...we carried her on a plastic crate bottom to keep her from hurting herself...we cried and prayed a lot ...she lived to be 11 and could still walk & run ..she was a little sideways but she never seems to suffer anymore ...she was a trouper...prayers for Coco

He comes by to visit my hubby every few weeks on his way to Tallapoosa from Kennesaw where he teaches now...Have you tried the Farmer's Market at Forest Park for Veggies....they have everything...it is not but about 45 minutes there

I had a fiberglass one and the pool dude switched my system to chlorine. ..I thought he knew what he was doing....wrong it ate into the finish and ruined it...Hubby dug it up and hauled it away...without telling me...I was looking into getting it repaired when I came home to a hole in the backyard..bacqucil [sp] was what I was using & it was more expensive & the water had a funky smell ..he said that it caused pipe & filter problems..but had never harmed the finish..he said that the chlorine was easier & cheaper...much cheaper now since it is gone.. ..did not know about sa

the first one I had was Rollins..they had some of the worst operators....I had one of my sensors going off almost every morning about 7-8 AM...they kept coming our to see what was wrong...they told me I had a 2 beat system...which meant the beam had to be tripped twice to make it go off so something was causing it...they tried to say it might be a mouse...I said I have a mouse that gets up early and dances around until he gets the alarm beams to get 2 beats together within seconds...I ask them if it was the same time frame and it was heat sensitive that I wondered if it was the sunshine hittin

it is hard to keep a dog down if they do not want to be still...Had a boxer that had heart worm treatment and we put her in the barn in a stall with a heater & lots of shavings ...the next morning she was sitting in the horses feed tray on the wall...about 3 feet from the ground..so much for keeping her calm....My whippet we got her fixed and the next morning she was sitting on the window sill of the garage...5 ft up..she would not stay in there ...I figured it was better to be out than jumping 5 ft in the air...Good luck
