The problem with starting later than 8:00 or 8:30 is that if people are out looking for sales, they will see that yours starts late and pass you by for another on that starts earlier, then they won't come back to yours. I passed on this weekend and saw things I would have probably bought, but they weren't starting til 11:00, I had other plans so I didn't go back. Good luck no matter what time you open up!!!

I think what they meant to say was that her a$$ was too big. Good grief, that 'dress' wouldn't fit my 8 year old granddaughter. I always wonder about people who dress in inappropriate ways, do they look in the mirror before they leave home and say, 'Y-E-A........I LOOK G-O-O-D!!!!' REALLY!?!?!?!?!

We must be a superhero parents then, because I have 3 kids, 2 are grown and as many stores as they were dragged to when they were little, that behavior was unacceptable and they knew it. My oldest daughter pitched a fit ONCE in Big Lots, she was taken out of the buggy, popped and taken home. It never happened again. Neither of my other 2 kids ever pitched a fit in public, not at a store, a restaurant, etc.

OH NO, that makes me sooooo sad! She seems to the sweetest person and she just wants a baby. I'm glad it was found early and maybe since she found out because she was trying to have one, at the end of treatment she will be blessed with a little one of her own. Maybe I'm not thinking about this correctly, but how is a $5.00 fee better for anyone except BOA? They get the fees from businesses, that are not going to stop, as well as the fee from their own customers. Sounds like double dipping to me. As the owner of a business you choose how to operate that business, it's not required that you accept credit or debit cards and if you do, then the fees associated with them become part of your overhead. I've been in many, many small establishments that offer a discount for cash transactions or ones where they don't even take plastic because of fees.

Hubby gets paid OT for anything over an 8 hour work day, NOT over 40 hours a week.

Thats one reason I have such a hard time with team sports. 4th grader isn't athletically inclined, even a little, and the idea that some asshat parent would act a fool and make an issue of it, repels me. I would end up being the crazy parent on the video just trying to protect my kid. I feel very strongly that teams sports are more than just about winning and so many parents seem to live through their kids because of their own shortcomings when they were in sports 20 years ago. Pil Sung Do was the answer for us!!! Yup!

You are exactly RIGHT! Hubby got me a CD for my birthday in August that I remembered from when I was a little girl and one that my sister loved. I had mentioned it in passing a few months ago, he was listening and remembered. It is one of the best gifts I have ever gotten (besides Hubby himself) and it makes me teary eyed just thinking about it!

My daughter saw it and loved it, I haven't watched yet.
