  1. That has been my experience also. A form goes in their records and thats the end of that.
  2. I don't think he ever had a mind to lose, he's always been an idiot!
  3. Yep, Dr. Oz is a fear monger. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
  4. I don't think I'd want a house that big and I'm glad this person wasn't a murderer.
  5. Apparently Pam Anderson didn't. This is a crazy story!! http://xfinity.comcast.net/entertainment/popcast/8183671/pamandersonlivedwithstalkerdidntnotice/
  6. Agreed! That's disgraceful! Alot of people need help losing weight and the fact that she gained weight to get help is ridiculous. If she had put in half the effort to LOSE weight as she did to GAIN it, sure, help her. But if you're not willing to make an effort on your own behalf, why should anyone else? And her sons........it's hard enough to be a kid in schools these days without having a mother like her. Forget the fat, it's the attitude.
  7. I switched to Direct TV and At&T in Decemeber and haven't looked back except when paying my bill. My Comcast bill for internet and cable with NO premium channels, was $182.00 per month. I wasn't eligible for any kind of discounts since I wasn't a 'new' customer, I had been with them for 15 years since moving to Paulding. JERKS! Anyway, my AT&T bill is $106.87, every month, with no variances like I had with cable. The satellite went out once for about 30 minutes during the snow and if it rains REALLY hard, it will cut out for a few seconds while it seeks another satellite location.
  8. Just about everything, I'd say! Say what you will, but it seems to me that these women are trying to capture or recapture some shortcoming in themselves by getting ANY kind of attention for their little girls and ultimately that attention will fall to the 'mom'(and I use that term loosely).
  9. Agreed! And fortunately, thats the kind of kids we have!
  10. If it were the trash that was Elite, believe me, they wouldn't be picking up mine!!!! Must be the service!!!!!
  11. I SOOO agree with you!!!! At our house the kids have chores and if that includes mowing the lawn, then that is what they are going to do. I can't imagine telling my child to do something and them refusing.......YEA........NOT IN MY WORLD! 4th grader is very helpful around our house and he gets an allowance for some things and some things he is responsible for simply because he's part of a family that works together to an end goal, like a neat house.
  12. We had 4th graders birthday at Jump Its last weekend and everyone had a blast. It was the first time we have ever had a party anywhere other then our house and it was great. The price was very reasonable and the service was EXCELLENT. The best thing about it is the fact that you get the jumping rooms all to yourselves, for your party only. That was the main draw for us. Jump Its used to be Pump it Up behind Greystone Power.
  13. Exactly! Or on the same note that the OP brought up about hard times, maybe kids do ask to do odd jobs and the people they approached didn't have the funds to PAY anyone for those jobs and have to do them themselves.
  14. Ditto! I also do it if there's an accident or some sort of slow down oncoming traffic needs to be aware of.
  15. I think some people think any traffic directions are optional. We were on Cumberland blvd yesterday stopped at a red light, cars were crossing the intersection and a car from the opposite side of us RAN THROUGH THE LIGHT going at least 40 MPH. Luckily, everyone was paying attention, slammed on brakes and accidents were avoided. I kept wondering and still am, what on earth was this person thinking? Do you really have to be somewhere so badly you're willing to risk life and limb, of yourself and others, just to get there? I was shocked but honestly, I shouldn't have been.
  16. WOW! Thats one reason I tend to stay away from people who drone on and on about being 'Christian', if thats what it's about, I want no part of it. What a pig!
  17. What a sweetie!! Congratulations!!!!! Molly Kate is my granddaughters name too!!!!!!!
  18. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!! I don't like the verdict, but why on earth would anyone want to be on a jury if their names are going to be released afterward? It's just asking for trouble and it seems to me that the judge could and would be liable for any harm that may come to these people because of such a stupid decision. WHAT IS HE THINKING?! Exactly!
  19. I think these people are idiots, but it seems like some sort of breech to release their names to the general public. With so many whackos, they very well could be in danger and then it could make finding a jury in the future a lot harder. I certainly wouldn't want my name out there if I had been on trial such as this one. That just seems wrong on a grand scale.
  20. Yes, and it's so easy to get a man to change his.
  21. I agree. Actions have consequences and maybe she'll remember next time after having to wait in the heat for a while. Of course, this could also backfire. For example, if shes at the mall, she could just go back in and wait for rescue and spend lots more money.
