  1. I'm so tired of getting crap in MY mailbox from the two upstanding men running for Senate. 'He did this, he did that', blah, blah, blah. 'I'm honest and ethical, he's not', blah, blah, blah. Enough is enough. Any ETHICAL candidate would NEVER run a campaign the way these two have, it's DISGRACEFUL and they should be ASHAMED! Neither of these men deserve the time of day, much less to represent any citizen, anywhere. But that's just me.
  2. I agree with you and the buck stops with them. If I, as a citizen, turn in something of value that was lost and that officer keeps it for himself, thats all him/her.
  3. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only course of action. As bad as I hate it, I don't know the desk person from Adams house cat and I KNOW I'm honest. So, after the number is left with the service desk, if they called and they could tell me when and where they left it and how much it was, I'd certainly get it back to them. But with the story above about the cop stealing the money out of the lost wallet, who can you really trust besides yourself? Not necessarily. If I left money, realized it and contacted the service desk, they could give me the persons number that found it and I coul
  4. I haven't had a margarita in almost 5 years, but I keep reading how wonderful they are at this restaurant and I think maybe it's time to try one.
  5. All valid questions. And I also wonder how many people claim to have left cash behind, when in fact they didn't.
  6. I heard about this, when you can't trust a cop who just happens to be your uncle, that proves that society may not been the right track. Should there be stiffer consequences if you're an officer of the law and commit a crime? I think maybe there should. I hardly ever carry cash, debit card only and I have it set up at the bank that a PIN MUST be used or the card is declined.
  7. And I think that's part of the problem, they don't choose wisely and continue the cycle over and over again. Unfortunately, that was my mother. When my dad died 2 months before I was born, my Mom remarried just after my first birthday. That lasted several years until Mr. Wonderful had spent all the money my dad left my Mom and he began abusing her. She left him and married again very quickly. He ran off after a few years, she dated and dated ALL KINDS of fools. Heck at 9 years old I knew that wasn't the thing to do. Luckily, I saw the harm that can cause and neither me nor my sister chos
  8. A lease/rental agreement or the papers if they purchased the new place?? That is a good question because I know 2 people who ONLY have PO boxes, NO mailbox at all. HHHHMMMMM!?!?!?!?!
  9. And I think most people would, but that's not always the case.
  10. I liked the opening ceremonies too. The Brits certainly enjoy a different kind of humor..........Benny Hinn anyone!? Mr. Bean!? I liked the opening ceremonies too. The Brits certainly enjoy a different kind of humor..........Benny Hill anyone!? Mr. Bean!?
  11. I don't think I remember this particular case, but the really SAD part is, is that we are hearing too many stories like this and it's hard to keep them separated. And what is going to happen if a child really goes missing from their home like Polly Klaus or Elizabeth Smart and the authorities chalk it up to a 'parental involvement' and it's not?
  12. So, he shouldn't camp out at the store for a week or two, take out numerous ads in several different papers at his own expense, open a bank account so the money would be safe, until he found the rightful owner? According to some opinions, those would be reasonable steps to take as opposed to leaving his number in case the forgetful shopper comes back, otherwise he'd be a giant thief. Amazing, I screw up, leave my money at the store and blame someone else. I absolutely agree that someone should have notified the store if they had found the extra cash, but bottom line, the money shouldn't have
  13. Thank you!! 5th grader has been in Pil Sung Do for almost 2 years and there are kids there that are dropped off EVERY SINGLE time and I have NEVER seen their parents, I wouldn't recognize them if they walked right up to me. We have never been drop and go parents, we stay, we watch and we help. They are OUR kids after all.
  14. The Spice Girls, seriously? Could they not have found a group that had been on the charted in this decade?
  15. Good job Dad! I'm glad ya'll had a great day.
  16. Agreed. The responsibility of this lost money falls to more than the person who 'took' it.
  17. I got $7 and change cash back at Wal-Mart at the self checkout line a year or so ago, grabbed the paper bills, stuffed them in my jeans pocket and did the same thing with the loose change. I put my jeans in the laundry, went on vacation and two weeks later when I washed my pants, I not only found my $7, but two twenties that I knew weren't mine, in the dryer. I took them back to Wal-Mart and someone in front of me had left them in the change tray and when I took my money, I took theirs too, I never even looked at it. So, maybe it was a mistake. But, if they hadn't have left their money in

    ob/gyn

I've been with Marietta OB/GYN Affiliates for 32 years. Many moons ago when he was still in the practice, Dr. (Rep.) Gingrey, delivered both of my girls. Dr. Bauer delivered my son in 2001. Both of my daughters go there and they have also delivered all three of my grandchildren. All of the staff, nurses and office workers, have always been professional and courteous. Love them all and especially since they have an office on 120. Phillip Gingrey, he delivered both of my girls.
  19. Can you leave this section blank on the ballot or do you HAVE to choose someone? It's candidates like these two old fools that make me not want to go to the polls at all. I have voted in every election since I was 18 years old, but I'm tired of having to vote for the lessor of two evils or voting AGAINST someone as opposed to FOR someone. I don't think either of these men deserve a single vote from anybody. So, where does that leave us? S-C-R-E-W-E-D I'm thinkin'.
  20. Try Kimberly Assisted Living in Dallas, they are just past the hospital on the same side of the road.
  21. I agree and that should be taken into account when going on a Friday night, added to the fact that they are still pretty new. One thing I will say that I think is a mistake and I could be wrong, but most people in Paulding that want a Mexican food, want the menu to be practically the same as every other Mexican menu and they want the food to be good. I'm not sure that the word 'fusion' works so well in East Paulding, don't 'fuse' the Mexican with anything else. Also, the lunch Speedy needs to at the top of the menu as opposed to in the middle, hidden. That's what people want to eat for lunch
