  1. I know that there has been another topic about this, but I have just now seen the commercial for this idiotic show on TLC, Here comes Honey Boo Boo. ARE YOU KIDDING? Who are these crass, uncouth, lewd idiots and why on Gods green earth would you want to have your stupid, ignorant family splashed all over TV in that light or better yet, watch them? I swear TLC has finally gone too far, this is even worse than the goombas and their mothers from New Jersey that was on a few months ago. What are the creators at TLC thinking? This foolish family is offensive on so many levels, I can't believe that
  2. That's exactly what I thought too when I heard this sad news. Some things are hard to spin back into a good light. R.I.P.
  3. I have a boy too and a couple of years ago, I insisted that my daughters remove his pics from their F/B pages. They were just normal family pics of them with him and of him by himself, etc., but I didn't want strangers looking at him.......or them for that matter, but they are grown, so what do you do?
  4. You're right, I'd be beyond horrified if either of my kids or grandkids acted like that to anyone. I have always made it clear to my children what was expected of them in the behavior dept., and also that if they ever acted out in public and disrespected others, I'd be the one acting bad at home and they knew that wouldn't be to their advantage in any way. I have always had people tell me that my children are 'mannerly', I'm not even sure that's a word, but I graciously accept the compliment and feel pride because of it. And while you want your child to have sense of competitiveness, you
  5. Nothing good in my world. My daughters are grown and I'd hate it if they put that much 'fake' on to try to impress anyone.
  6. Of all the people on Pcom, SOLO is the last one who needs anyone to defend her, but you go TOO far. Being opinionated doesn't make you hateful, vindictive or deranged. As far as you calling her judgmental, that's like the pot calling the kettle black. I certainly hope with these kind of assumptions, you read on here more than you post, because if not, 331 posts don't qualify you to make character assessments about anyone. And for the record, sexing up a little kid on purpose to win a pageant, is NOTHING like having them on a sports team. And it is trashy to see these so called parents enco
  7. I've had T-Mobile for 7 years and now have 5 lines and have never had a problem. Customer service has always been really easy to deal with.
  8. I will never understand why anyone would back a candidate that has this kind of issue. Not paying taxes and then wanting to hold office? SERIOUSLY? But then again, logic often doesn't play a part in the political process.
  9. I have learned NOT to watch The Learning Channel. What an ironic name for a TV channel that serves more tripe than a soul food joint.
  10. That's why my neighbors will NEVER have my phone number.
  11. And that needs to come sooner than later, I hope He!! has enough room for these evil, evil people. And they are doing this in the name of the Lord I guess?
  12. And before now, whatever age he is now, this person didn't know right from wrong or he just didn't care? There is a difference. There is a point in life where responsibility must be placed where it belongs, on the individual doing the deed and not on the past that so many use as a defense and a crutch. Been there, made a choice, not a criminal.
  13. It's really easy to lay the blame at the feet of this mans parents. By that logic, every person who has ever done any evil thing, it's really their parents fault because they were raised by the hair of their head, with no morals or values and in a Godless environment? I'll bet there are plenty of parents of criminals who would disagree with you. Ultimately, every person knows right from wrong and when an adult or even a teen makes a choice to do something like this or commit any other crime, it's their choice. From very personal experience, I know for a fact that you can be raised in a le
  14. Are you kidding?!?!?! Me too!!! Weirdness abounds!!!!!!
  15. Or, 'I 'done' that yesterday'. Makes me crazy!
  16. You're sweet! Naturally, I include you in my list, Mrs G because she is always so quick to help others, Jennilyn and mai lan because we seem to think very much alike, Sports Source, LPPT, KRM, Lady Raider and so many others I know I'm leaving out, are all kind and funny Pcommers.
  17. So true. This happened because a man decided to plan it and do it. It had nothing to do with video games, God or the lack there of. Bottom line, there is no explanation or at least not one that most normal, everyday people will ever understand. It was a senseless act of violence and those are the hardest to comprehend.
  18. Hubby did ours too several years ago. And when it broke, that thing shot around the garage like a missile! Scary!
  19. I see, you're right, people are nuts and people act crazy in general. I just misunderstood.
  20. I don't understand your point. Some lady wasn't supposed to be able to buy binders at Target? She was buying too many? What does this have to do with video games?
  21. Thank you! The ratio to people playing video games to nut jobs shooting up theaters is practically non existent. People MUST be responsible for their own actions regardless of what they do in their down time. 'I played video games and they made me do it'. BULL S^. People behave violently because they choose to, for no other reason than that. Sane people know the difference between videos and real life. Nutso murderers......maybe not. The real problem that I see, is that criminals will use whatever excuse they have to to explain away their violent crimes and as a society, we've started to
  22. Sweet baby and one thing I always notice is that brand new Moms are so beautiful. You're exhausted, sore, usually hungry, etc. But the glow of having that new baby is so brilliant, it completely outshines all the bad stuff. Congratulations to all!
