No slam here, I agree with you. At least she owned her mistake, that's a start. But where is the rest of the story here? How long were they at the shelter? At what point did the owner claim the dogs and how much time lapsed before she got there to pick them up? Why were they sent to the vet? Dogs arrive from the shelter and immediately they kill them? There are WAY too many unanswered questions here. This was a 'non article' as far as I'm concerned, what kind of ill informed, dumb a$$ reporter was this? And the editor let it go to press thinking they had done a complete story? HA!

Dr. Leathers at New Hope Animal hospital is great. I've been there several times and I've seen bigger dogs dogs than danes on more than one occasion. Good luck!

Me too. If a heterosexual couple is threatened or somehow impacted by 2 gay people being married, their problems were unfixable long before gays married. That is such a stupid argument. I've been very happily married for 29 years and I'm sure that we've run across more than one gay couple while together and I never felt diminished in any way. Why would I???? If people are so insecure in their relationship, gays aren't the problem.

So did Paula Deen abuse this person or did her brother? If it was her brother, then why is this person suing PD and not Bubba? I'm sorry, but you lose credibility when you make your target the one with the money as opposed to the one who supposedly committed the bad acts. And I don't care that PD owned more of a share of the restaurant than Bubba, she wasn't involved in the everyday runnings of this place so how could she be be held accountable for his bad actions?

While I disagree with some of what you said, you said it in a non threatening, non hurtful, calm manner. That I can respect and I can agree to disagree.
