  1. Well, I've decided that you're going to be fine, so that's the end of that.
  2. Holy moly gal, I'm worried too. Anytime the words tumor and brain are mentioned in the same sentence, I tend to go deaf to the rest of the information. But like you, I can imagine myself trying to make sure everyone else wasn't worried about me and assuring them that all was going to b e fine. I'm totally serious when I say if you need anything, please let me (us) help. I can cook, I can clean, run errands, etc. I'm thinking about you and sending good thoughts!!
  3. I've heard many good things about this place too!
  4. Dang, you beat me to it!! Wonderful place, not overpriced and this if from a gal who is a super picky eater! We LOVE it!!
  5. Did he plan to set her on fire, was it deliberate or is he just a dumba$$? First degree murder involves premeditation.
  6. Slenderman didn't talk and as everyone was getting ready, he stood in the front doorway just looking at my oldest daughter in the kitchen, she screamed, told him to stop and went about her business. He then quietly moved to the kitchen doorway and when she turned around, she squealed and almost wet her pants. We're still laughing!!!
  7. This for sure. I had a boyfriend many moons ago that worked at Amoco and was best friends with the owners son. The owner told him never to get gas when the tanks are being filled because it stirs up crap in the bottom of the holding tanks. Won't do it.
  8. There is s site called 'A place for Mom' they may have some useful info. Good luck!
  9. This story makes my heart hurt. What a freak thing to happen to your baby, I guess you just never know.
  10. We had about 50 or so, but I live in a cul-de-sac and the house is not close to the road, with 2 sets of stairs to the porch. I actually sat on the bottom step for a while so they didn't have to walk so far. All the kids were so polite, old and young. We had a couple of 'Walking Dead' zombies that scared the little kids pretty bad and they ended up apologizing and taking off their masks, I thought that was pretty cool.
  11. I'll take your friendship however I can get it!!
  12. You're right. Park looks perfectly normal, but upon interaction it's obvious there is a problem. As I said, mostly she's very well behaved, but once in a blue moon she'll have a melt down in public. And I'll be the first to admit that it can be bad. However, it doesn't make it any better when people smirk or make comments like, 'She needs a a$$ whuppin''. (I used 'a' instead of 'an' on purpose because of the goobers who usually comment)!
  13. Then a bumble bee, 2 princesses and a cowboy. The blue princess belongs to our neighbor.
  14. Middle daughter is a Day of the Dead gal
  15. Middleschooler is SlenderMan, some urban legend creepy guy Then we have a bumble bee, 2 Princesses and a cowboy OK, this never works. I'll have to put the pics in separate posts.
  16. It hasn't ever crossed my mind to remember to be patient with a special needs child because I have one in my house, but this is a great message for those who have never been around a child with Autism or any other issue. Parker is normally very well behaved in public and mostly at home too, but sometimes people stare and point and I either want to knock them in the head or explain her to them. But I shouldn't have to, as should no one else who is in this position. If you have a brain in your head, it's obvious when a child or even an adult is special needs and to act like an a$$hat toward them
  17. And a HUGE biotch to boot. I have never liked her AT ALL.
  18. How old is your Mom? My MIL is selling her house and is moving into a senior subsidized complex in Marietta. I think her rent will be about $478.00 a month. It's all income based, so maybe your mom would pay less if she's old enough MIL is 74.
  19. I don't think I'd have to dress up to be that!!
