Thank you! My daughter's "theme" is Old Hollywood. She has a stunning satin dress, and her colors are red, black, and white. I think my dress in charcoal is perfect for the theme. I'm so excited! I just didn't need this added stress!!

This is my beautiful dress. I ordered the long skirt rather than the pants (though I liked the pants, but the store didn't have ANY samples in stock and I was unwilling to special order an item I hadn't even seen--and they had the long skirt in their floor samples). My dress is in charcoal color. I it, even if I'm really pi$$ed at the store!!

I COULD NOT agree more!! However, after I FINALLY got my dress today, and intended to ask them to make it right, the manager proceeded to tell me that their seamstress was only in on Thursdays, whhich would be far too late for my alterations. The "manager" did tell me, that though they don't "usually" do it for free, they would offer me a "complimentary" steaming of my dress (which WILL need steaming in addition to alteration) as a "customer service" to me. And yes, she said it JUST THAT WAY--like they were willing to do me this HUGE favor after taking so long to get my dress and putting me in

So, I ordered this gorgeous dress for my daughter's wedding from Alfred Angelo bridal--their new store at the Perimeter Mall area. They told me initially that I would get my dress with two-three weeks to spare. No. That didn't happen. I just got my dress from them TODAY. And my daughter's wedding is Friday at 6:00 pm. AND I NEED ALTERATION!! The top needs to be taken in a bit. But I am completely out of time...and FREAKING!! Does anyone know of a good seamstress who could get this done for me no later than Friday morning? HELP A PANICKED MOTHER-OF-THE-BRIDE!! And I cannot s

I'm so sorry for your loss, lowrider. I missed your earlier post. I know it's hard even when it's expected. That's a beautiful tribute you've created for her.

Most may, but that doesn't mean ALL DO. Just like it would be in any other culture. That wasn't said out of hate or any kind of prejudice--just the fact that some men can be skeery to the women they "love."

Paul will find a niche. He's just so imitative. I can see him singing on cruise ships for a living. No offense to anyone who sings on cruise ships--I liked Paul!

My thoughts exactly. When I heard that she was found safe but NOT returning, my first thought was domestic violence, not that she must have been double-dipping just because she's an attractive woman. I suppose not knowing anything, one theory is just as good as the other, but I just tend to believe she fled w/o the kids because she feared for her life, and whatever violence the kids might have to witness if she didn't. She may have left out of love (for her kids) instead of lust (for someone else).

I agree with WFAL on Haley's outfit, though!

If I could vote for someone to leave, I'd dial like crazy for Haley.

I guess James did really well...if you like screaming heavy metal R&R.

OK...THAT was weird...

It would be afoul, IMO, for a young mother of 5 to "run away." I got the hinkies listening to him on the news, too. I hope we're all wrong. It's just hard to imagine a mother willingly leaving her 5 kids...

Sorry to hear you're going through this. I know it must be terrifying.

I think it wouldn't really matter if "they" told us or not, except for how it would make people behave.
