If the idiots around me don't stop setting of fireworks. My poor Corgi has given me the WORST headache with her NON-STOP barking...even now as I type this...first it was the thunder since around 6:30, and now it's the DIPSTICKS setting of fireworks in the rain. I mean really...it's POURING DOWN RAIN...what kind of pleasure could they be getting setting off things made to catch fire and explode? IT'S RAINING...ALL THEY DO IS MAKE NOISE. And make my dog make noise. This is going to be a looooooooooooooong night.

I dunno...I think the only ones that will give them any difficulty are one through three: Count One, First Degree Murder Count Two, Aggravated Child Abuse Count Three, Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child If the agree on count 1, two and three will be fairly easy, no? And the remaining counts-- Counts Four Through Seven, Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer in Reference to a Missing Person This is a "Well, DUH!" isn't it? She's admitted she lied to law enforcement all the way through. Even in her "defense," the claim is that she lied to cover up the "truth"

Jean Casarez was in the courtroom when they dismissed the jury this evening. She said it was the first time she'd seen them all day, and they weren't dressed up--they were all in casual clothes. I think this is just another one of those rumors that gets passed around with this trial. But who knows? But JC has no reason to make it up?

No, the apology is mine to make. Sorry if I sounded grumpy! I didn't mean to. And you're right...not all are watching this. Me, having the day off and not much else to do, have watched all day. Hard to say what the fascination is...except the victim was so young and innocent, and the accused so cold and such a proven liar. I hope they find at least for enough to send her to prison for life. I could read some of what she said. She said, "That's not true," and "That never happened." But much of what she said, I couldn't read. -

I hope the waiting ends tomorrow. They said the jury didn't even glance at the defense table as they entered the courtroom. One can only guess (and hope) why. I do worry...they can't (and didn't) prove Casey killed her. But the dots are all there to connect. I would HATE to be on that jury. -

Why yes, yes it has. My cable TV still works. If looks could kill, Linda Drane-Burdick would have dropped dead while giving her rebuttal today. :shudder: -

I didn't say I didn't think NG isn't effective. She's just irritating. Like always saying "ToT MoM" and "CAAAYelEEE." And the way she says other things...the sound of her voice...the whole bulldog thing... But she's also been passionate about this and other cases involving children, and that's a GOOD thing. -

No doubt! Even if she has to sprint a mile to the courthouse in platform heels and her bad wig flies off, by-golly SHE'LL BE RIGHT THERE, MICROPHONE IN HAND/SOMEONE'S FACE!!! -

Jane Velez-Mitchell gets on my Last. Freaking. Nerve. She may be the only person as irritating as Nancy Grace. Did y'all see earlier today when Cheney Mason told her to "Get that microphone out of my face"? -

I believe the prosecution tried unsuccessfully to get her removed. She'd be wise NOT to give media interviews if she throws the trial in the guilt or innocence phase. It won't matter much how well she's dressed. She will be hugely unpopular. -

I found this, trying to answer my own question: "When will the jurors' identities be made public? Perry issued an order that prevents the jurors' names from being released. It is unknown whether or when he will lift that order. But under normal circumstances, the release of the jurors' names depends on the verdict. If Anthony is found guilty of a lesser charge than first-degree murder, it will be after the verdict is read. If they find her guilty of first-degree murder, they must stay on for the penalty phase of the trial, which would start about 48 hours after the verdict is r -

Not sure how this goes...but don't they have to do the punishment phase following the verdict? I don't think anyone will be walking out today...at least I hope not...this is from an article today about the case: "A copy of the instructions read to jurors says the same thing, spelling out the alternative routes to a first-degree murder verdict. If Casey Anthony is found guilty as charged, she faces a potential death sentence. With a first-degree murder finding, jurors would return for more testimony and witnesses during the so-called penalty phase of the trial. If she is convicted o -
All three of mine were also raised as summer "beach babies." I never had any problems, and they all loved playing in the sand and the water when they were the same age as your little one. I think everyone's already covered everything! Lots of sunscreen, simple beach toys like a shovel and bucket, an umbrella and a large towel, stuff for hydration...yep, that's a good list! Oh and the camera! Absolutely necessary! And don't to forget showing him how to feed the gulls! Just don't do it where a bunch of other folks are gathered...gulls can be a nuisance! But he'll love it! Have

I subscribe to HBO through my cable subscriber (AT&T). Last night after the True Blood season premier was over, I WANTED MORE!! If you have a cable or satellite service that gives you HBO content, you can go to hbogo.com, register, and see next week's episode. I just watched it, and it was SO GOOD!! If you subscribe to HBO through your local carrier, there is no charge to watch the new episode online. You just log on with your regular username. DO IT!! It was SO good!

And how does it matter if we all pay the same when none (or at best, few) of us are going to ever see any of it anyway? If people paid "more," should they expect "greater" benefits?

I CAN'T WAIT!!! I have company...my husband's dad and his buddy...and I have already excused myself for 9:00. I'll be watching!!

Such a handsome young man! My heart also breaks for his family. My youngest son is just about his age, and I cannot imagine their loss. RIP, young man. You were clearly so loved by so many.

When I met Jeff (my husband), we hit it off, but really, I fell in love with his Mom and Dad, who I met the same night, and before they introduced me to him. I gave him my phone number. He called. I didn't answer. Three times. The last time he called, I answered. He asked me to dinner. I was DONE with dating, but I agreed to go out with him. In my head, it was a "friendship" thing. It was the best date of my entire life. I laughed SO MUCH my face hurt. It was the best decision I think I ever made--Jeff is truly my "soul mate." We're just plain creepy, we think so mu

The whole thing makes me ill. I love my children, but there's no way I'd lie for them under oath, even if the penalty they faced was death. The VICTIM here was a baby, and her grandbaby. From the start of this case I thought G&C were cr@p. C did nothing to change that opinion today. And if? IF G "molested" Casey? That is no excuse for a dead baby, tossed off into the woods wrapped in garbage bags. If a baby drowns in a pool, you call 911. You don't do an elaborate cover-up that involves a decomposing body in the trunk of your car and tattoos and "hot body" cont
