Even 12 years ago, if there was VERIFIABLE PROOF of such allegations, folks didn't just "go away" for $35,000. A verifiable accusation would EASILY pull 6 figures. As I have said before, I don't know the "truth," but I know I'm not buying all of this accusation BS, and Sharon Bialek is as believable as Pinocchio. There is no comparison between being a normal male and being accused of sexual assault. Either you know the polite boundaries no matter what your testosterone says, or you don't. This isn't a "boys will be boys" accusation, and it's diminishing to treat it as such. I would find it hard to have respect for a man who treated a woman like that. But-- I don't find Ms. Bialek's accusations very compelling. I could be wrong. But she hasn't swayed me.

What was it that Gloria Allred handed out today? DID she actually hand something out? And what has it been said she handed out in this thread? A document composed of hearsay by a third party, 14 years in the past? REALLY? WHO would remain silent after that kind of assault (and whose BOYFRIEND wouldn't pop a cork) only to spill it all out in a news conference years later? I don't personally know what the truth is in this situation. But I damn sure know who has more credibility. And it ain't Allred, et al.

Was it ever pinned to the front page? Was it prominent "headline" news? Were there crappy video reports about it forced on people when they logged in before they clicked the "Recent Topics" button?
