I hadn't thought about that...thanks. The first van I sold about 6 weeks ago I did by parking it with a sign in the front windows. Got several calls and sold it fairly quick and for very close to the asking price.

Thanks. I understand people wanting to buy things as cheaply as possible. What insults me is the (apparent) assumption that I (the seller) am too stupid to know what my truck is worth. I may just go park the truck at Craig Rainwater's on Hwy92, stick a sign in the windshield, and sell it to a passer-by. Less hassle and a higher caliber of potential buyers.

I have an extra work van, so I decided to put it on the list to see if I could get it sold. I wrote a 2 paragraph description, posted a photo, and sat back to see what would happen. I've had 7 replies. Not a one wanted to come see the truck, or to ask any specific questions about its' condition or the like. If you bothered to read the whole article, it was another of those pieces whining about how "unfair" things are because, while black students are ( for example) 25% of the enrollment, they are involved in (for example) 75% of the suspensions, detentions, etc. It MUST be discrimination.
