Nah. A couple good applications of Round-Up might help, though. -
Who, or what, is Honey Boo Boo? Have I missed something?

Not. Pulling. Your. Finger.

Take the pad of your thumb and roll it around in the hollow behind your ear lobe. If my Eustachian tubes get clogged, I can "massage" them and get the tube to drain and take the pressure out of my ear.

Especially when they wear towels on their heads. -
Bingo. Had ADT in this house since '04 or '05. Entry ways, motion detectors, and smoke alarm. The "local" smoke detector is about 15 feet from the kitchen in a hallway. It is hardwired to all the other detectors upstairs and in the basement , so they all sound off if one "smells something". When we got ADT, they installed their smoke detector about 12" away from the one closest to the kitchen. Several times I have set the local detectors off while cooking...literally just frying bacon. The locals go off and the ADT stays silent. The last time it happened, there was a LOT of s

A few days after we moved to Paulding, we wandered "downtown" to the Square. There was a Christmas Parade in progress, maybe it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving? I knew I had died and gone to Heaven when there were a group of Klan guys marching in the middle of the parade. -

You never miss an opportunity to STFU, do you? -
We've had a "name-brand" alarm system/monitoring for several years, and I'm really unhappy with them. Specifically with their smoke-detector apparatus. Long story, but the local (builder installed) smoke detector works as it should. The alarm company's detector failed to work several times when the local system sounded off. (OK, I was cooking. That's how I know when things are done...the smoke detector goes off.) Any how, when I called them to inquire why I didn't get an alarm/phone call, they sent a service man to check the equipment. The tech basically told me their equipment is

Unless you have a situation where the lease payments are a business expense and therefore tax-deductible, there are no really good reasons to lease. I would NEVER lease a private vehicle. NEVER.

That's what you get for reading the New York Slimes anyway. More deception and mis-information per gallon of ink than any other newspaper on the planet, -
I have a number of customers calling for quotes, and I usually ask them to text me a photo of the project. After a while, I have the stock Apple message "app" that is full of photos and phone numbers. But when the customer calls back in 3 or 4 days, I have no way to match their voice and name with the phone number and photos. So, I've responded to a phone number/text with a quote, etc. I get a phone call saying, this is "xxx", I got your quote, when can you come? And I have no idea who they are or which pictures/quote goes with the name. I don't particularly want to have a prospec

Hateful? I tend to get that way when someone who hasn't a clue about what I and my family have experienced calls me ignorant and sexist.

Why she did it isn't the issue. Why it is national news is the question in my mind. The arrogance of even making the announcement is stunning. It's certainly not like her boobs are important in the whole scheme of things. Why does she think she's an example anyone should follow? While she's (barely) a notch up the food chain from Lohan or the Kardashians, she's still a Hollywood bimbo. Why anyone gives a flip about what any of them do totally escapes me. Their pathetic personal lives should, IMO, not be front page news nor should any of them be an example for anyone to live their l
