You'd probably be more popular around here if you didn't hate Arthur Blank so much.

i just love it when you hand those cry-baby liberals their azz .

I know. I've been waiting for LPPT to chime in with a statement that lightning wouldn't be so dangerous if WalMart paid their people more. -
MYTH: Thomas Edison Invented The Light Bulb

Really? Then why are the battery cables in your car (12 volt dc) much bigger than the cord (120 volt ac) to your desk lamp? I bet you can come up with a chart explaining all that. -
An armed society is a polite society.

MYTH: Thomas Edison Invented The Light Bulb

I'd like to see somebody put a voltmeter on a lightning bolt. DC or AC? Don't matter, it's gonna kill you either way. My father was chief engineer for a major midwestern electric utility company. Lightning was something he combated and studied every day. One thing he invented back in the 1930's which is in common use on every power line is the static wire. If you look at any pole or tower, there is a wire at the very top, usually much thinner than the others. The static wire has a jumper which loops over to the pole and attaches to a bare copper wire running down the side of the -
When my grandmother was surprised about something, she said "Well, my stars and garters!!"

And you do a damn good job of it, too.

Takes one to know one, I guess. Me, every time I heard Zimmerman speak, I thought he seemed to be polite and articulate. Takes one to know one, I guess.

I bet it was a small tumor.

His few remaining neurons haven't gotten there yet. Give them time. -
If they are planning on staffing their force with dumbasses,...... P.com's favorite troll ought to be a leading candidate for Chief of Police. Oh, and wasn't that the same PD that arrested some professor buddy of Oblabbers'? And he took to the airwaves and said "the police acted stupidly"?
-
And who is to say that, had the verdict gone the other way, the same groups of Martin's supporters/thugs/hooligans wouldn't have demonstrated/rioted in "celebration" as opposed to "protest"?
-
At today's prices of ammo, warning shots have been discontinued.
-
You mean like ordering DOD and DOJ to classify the Muslim Terrorist killing a bunch of soldiers at Ft. Hood as "workplace violence"? That kind of stupidity?
-
Yet you have almost 29,000 posts.....

I know. Until they make up something. Like Zim and his father decided to play the system and hit the lottery like Pubby suggested in another thread. Like I said, I wouldn't trust Holder for a second. That could be a good thing. All those liberals go jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.....
-
I would put NOTHING past Holder. He hasn't let the law stand in his way yet. Wait until the leftist "think tanks" come up with some spin on some obscure regulation.
-
One good thing could come out of all this. Obama could be so upset over this verdict that he could resign in protest.
-
How ironic that a bleeding heart liberal would use this illustration.

Here it is. the HP resistor is at the bottom left.

What good is dyslexia if you don't use it now and then? Thanks for the Amazon lead. Good price.

I had found those sites, too. Apparently there is a place in Kennesaw near Town Center that might stock them according to the site. I found it for $75 on one site in CA.

Hey, Pip.. I finally got it out of the grinder and the board had a label hidden. KB Electronics, in FL, Model KLBC 120. 120vac input, output 0-90vdc, rated 6a w/heatsink.
-
It does have one of the ceramic plug-in resistors. The mounting screws for the heat sink and the board itself are frozen onto the baseplate of the machine. I have them soaking in penetrating oil now, once I get the board out where I can get a pic, I'll post it.
