Question: International Flight into Hartsfield-Jackson?
DallasRed replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You cant go to the gate. Just meet him in the terminal by baggage claim. -
Not sure about GA. In MD there couldn't get their learners permit till they are 16 and cant drive without 18+ adult with them till licence at 16 years 10 months. We had to keep a driving log cant remember the hours wanna say 60. When we moved to GA they gave both boys GA drivers licences without taking any tests over. I figured my 17 year old would have to. They did say once he turns 18 he has to come in to get a different licence.

Both of my boys will drive on the interstate, my oldest is 20 and younger boy is 17...BUT this is 85 north/south and it's not that busy. Once you get north of town I totally agree with you there. 285 Freaks me out and I hate the fact if I wanna go to Marietta I gotta get on it. And I had to drive on it to get to GA from MD. The backs roads where I live make the 85 look safer. Speed limit is 45 in many areas and other people want to ride you A$$ not to mention the curves..Things like that can make teens nervous. I'm glad my HS son only has 2 miles if that to drive to school each day.

I was just reading this time line of the shooter. He was stationed at the same squadron in ATL(Marietta) that my husband was at! Thank goodness that DH was in VA Beach those years, never met the guy. The world is such a small place when it comes to the Navy. Explains the GA arrest. Dec. 15, 2007— Alexis graduated from Aviation Electrician's Mate "A'' School and transferred to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 46 in Atlanta. He remained with this squadron for his entire time in the Navy. The squadron relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2009. Rest of the article here. http://

We all come on here and VENT. It is OK. There is a section on here where you can go name restaurants as long as they aren't commerce members.

Not dismissing it CASUALLY, I was saying that the odds of getting HEP from that situation she described slim to NONE. If you get that from what I write, I cant help you there. Here is another on Hep C Not to easy to get...................3 out of 100................. "Health care workers who have been exposed to HCV-positive blood, typically through needle sticks, splashes to the eye, or other contact. Studies show that about three health care workers out of 100 who receive accidental needle sticks with HCV-infected blood will become infected."

I saw him on TV the other days supported her. Not sure what he says to her when the cameras are off I watched her on SNL a few years ago. She looks like she just lost the baby weight...Probably 10-12 lbs. It's On Demand if you want to see.

Not sure if this was directed at me....But my whole point is while yet it was GROSS....She was young and not to mention she probably had the HEP A and B vaccine. My kids have the shot. My first thought was I would ask her if she was OK not start telling her how gross she is. Odds are slim to none that anyone would get Hep from this young kid. Trying to share other thoughts on it...Message boards are so boring if everyone is yes that is gross etc over and over. Try to give the kid the benefit of a doubt...I'm sure she was pretty embarrassed over the whole ordeal. Reminds m

Hep A "How is hepatitis A spread? The hepatitis A virus is found in the stool of an infected person. It is spread when a person eats food or drinks water that has come in contact with infected stool." Hep B "How HBV is spread HBV is spread when blood, semen, or vaginal fluids (including menstrual blood) from an infected person enter another person's body, usually in one of the following ways: Sexual contact Sharing needles Work-related exposure. People who handle blood or instruments used to draw blood may become infected with the virus. Health care workers are at risk of becoming i

Time for DEXTER you get back to me when you can prove she can get it from a bloody finger that isn't even touching her food.

That is what bugs me. I am pre-diabetic but my insurance wouldn't pay for me to see a dietitian until I was a full blown type 2. Thankfully when I was in Maryland I was able to see one on-base. After they gave me a blood glucose monitor that was way off. I was really questioning why did I even bother seeing one in the first place. All that did was freak me out about my numbers being way off, when they really weren't. I know this because when they did a blood draw, I did my machine at the same time and the machine had my numbers being 10 points higher. I stopped seeing her and just go by

I guess the answer is NO. She hurt herself and you are going on about her NASTY HANDS...... As for the HEP part I will quote rockysmom "Is that what I said? No. That's not even close" ETA I just looked up HEP...No way can you get it that way. A B or C.

Did you ask here first if she was OK? Most people would have run off saying OUCH OWE sounds like she was trying to do her best.

You cant go by total cholesterol only. HDL and Triglycerides are more important. I can have total at 167 but my other numbers are off. IMO I take them RX because I don't want to die young. Medicines are sometimes the best choice. I exercise and eat right 80% if the time. It is my genes...And I don't want to have a early heart attack like my brother. Good for him! I wish my son could get off his BP med but he'll probably have to take it for the rest of his life

Pretty sure the bridge and root canals were necessary And my last Dentist in GA only wanted to give me 2 cleanings a year when insurance covered 3.
-
No not really, not for my family. I can stomach paying 2-30 ish a month but when they try to get me to pay over 100 forget it. For many years I didn't even pay anything for dental it was free. When I worked for Delta Dental and when DH was with Lockheed. Lord knows I have saved $$$$$$$$$$ for all of the root canals, 1 bridge which cost me ZERO due to me and DH both having dental insurance that I was able to use both ways. Braces etc. If you don't have dental they want to charge over 200 for a cleaning, but it is amazing how much cheaper it is total when you have dental. I am unable to

I love it! Gotta use that in my siggy line. Amazing how many time words on here are twisted.
-
Same here, nothing is changing for DH all they said is that the premium will go up for 2-12 dollars. He is getting a pay raise too. No biggie for us since he is retired military we don't use their plan anyway for medical just the dental. Not sure if the dental is going up or not. Even if it does it is still way cheaper than using the military plan. What a ripoff for dental
