Really? The one that I thought was funny is the 800,000 civilians it listed and then under the same category it said military recruiters must work. I've never seen a civilian military recruiter. Guess they are talking about the DOD people at Meps. I'll be sure to tell all the NAVAIR people what you think. Especially since many of them are retired military.

You should be OK, most women don't get their first till age 40. Since my mom died of breast cancer I got my first at 35 and then started getting them yearly at age 40. From what I understand they are free starting next year for all.

Last I heard on the news it is now open to the public Bad Bad press when you try to stop some 90 year old Vets from seeing a memorial.

That really depends on the contract. If they are getting paid they are lucky. Some contracts are already paid for past Oct 1, so they money is there and they will get paid. I got paid last year for 2 days when Super Storm Sandy hit, only because the base was closed. It wouldn't be closed this year. I would think all of the contractors on bases would get paid because they are supporting the troops.

You know what makes this really stupid. They are going to pay the Contractors and GS that support the troops directly. So basically they are sitting at home having a nice little vacation and getting paid to do it....And cant get mad a them it's not their fault. I am not following how are we forced to live with obamacare and not congress? I would have more respect for that if he was donating it to some of the GOVT workers that won't get a payck.

I had a steak there...West Cobb Avenues Aspens. The steak I had at the Peachtree City LongHorn was better and half the price. The Avenues here in Peachtree City...Kinda small I would rather go to Ashley Park in Newnan. No one out here seems to be uppity, when I tell them I just moved here from MD they are as nice as can be.

I've never lived in CA but I was told they act just like the show Curb Your Enthusiasm. Those people are very blunt and tell it like it is. :rofl: Love that show!!
