Food Network said they were not renewing her contract. I guess the timing was just perfect for them when they dropped her. Do they own the Cooking Channel I wonder? She should just go to that network..Or better yet, since she is such good friends with Oprah why not her network?

Well it was like I said no one has been rude to me personally to my face, but you read a few comments on here. Sure they could be joking..But some really don't read that way. It's very simple if you are joking just add a I was rolling a few years ago. We were living in MD and came back to New Hope to ck on our house and remove some things from our basement. The rental car agency gave us a WHITE Lincoln town car with New York tags. I did get some dirty looks while I was a stop sign. DH is a YANKEE city boy...That is what I like. I've been called rude on here just because I gues

North Paulding seems to have the nicer houses and areas. I never really met anyone RUDE, on here I get the impression from some that the livelong Paulding residents don't like Yankees But you get that with many communities, they don't like the growth and change that comes with more and new people moving to the area.

East Paulding???? Are you getting that confused with East Cobb SNOBS

WhAAAA? I'm in a HOA community because I don't want neighbors having trucks and cars with no tires all over the place bringing down my home values. Measuring grass that is crazy, some HOA's are out of hand. I've been in my house less than 3 months and I already got a letter saying I need to paint or stain my fence. Wonder if the original owners got anything? They can bite me, with DH working 12 hours 6 days a week it will happen when it happens. I think it's funny cause the fence coming into the sub looks like it needs a paint job Best way to handle things get on the BOARD yoursel

How a Govenment Shutdown would mean to you

They cant do their jobs....Because doing a travel claim in DTS is a process. The service member enters it or a contractor etc helps them, then you have a reviewer, who makes sure everything looks OK. Then you have a GS or Military person approve it. This cuts back on human error. Now if the approver is a GS they are going to not be able to work during a shutdown. Military will be there. Depends on where you work. Last job had 3 approvers but all were GS. They have this system in place for a reason. If you sister does DTS. I can so relate why she is ready to retire, the system ha -

I have a feeling if it comes down to it....They will be covered if they have USAA and Navy Fed as their banks. When this was going on in 2012 both of them said they would put money in our accounts. They are doing this because they know the money will eventually be there. DH said his retirement money comes from a different account than active duty pay so that won't even be affected. -

Because you are really reading to much into the way they word it. Do you think the supervisor manager can do all of the work by him or herself? Not to mention when all of these people are gone. GOVT workers...and contractors who is going to get stuck being overwork? That is right the Military will...And stuff that needs to get done won't right away. Like my DH travel claim. I did travel claims too. I was the only one in a squadron of 350+ doing them...So I can relate to how overwork this lady is........When you are overworked mistake can and probably will be made. -

You guys just don't get it. Non Essential pretty much means they aren't the bosses and in charge. I worked on a base I know what I am talking about. I forgot all about DH travel claim. We moved in Jul and still don't have our money. I am talking 5K here. Just saw the email. "Sorry for the delay but travel is down to only 1 person processing for the whole base. Take care." One person doing the whole base...Sequestration already mean these people are over-worked. I wonder if she is considered Mission Essential. One week to get the money...Less than one week till the -

Are you kidding me? When they have non-essential stay home only the bosses come in. So that is about 80 people stay home and 1 guy is there. Seriously. -
See that is the way to get a tattoo if you must, wait till after age 30.
-
It looks like they can discharge, but the guy I know they are letting him stay in and he never has to shave, CO signed it. I think it's more about if you are a good sailor and they like you. If he was a deadbeat he would be gone. "7. Action a. Individuals in a temporary or permanent "no shave" status must (1) maintain facial hair not to exceed 1/4 inch in length. The beard will not become unkempt in appearance and will not be manicured to any style. (2) comply with all treatment protocols. b. Commands will place emphasis on education, monitoring, and assistance when memb

Doesn't bother me like I said before I think Tattoos are UGLY and Tacky Looking..........Me and DH never got one. If you have to get one where you have to hide it....Why bother? What about Goodlooking women who happen to be a Democrat? I bet most of the women in Hollywood are and you watch their movies You can get no shave chits in the military...There are exceptions. I know a guy who never has to shave, BUT he does have to have a close beard. Military makes you get shots too Some of these shots seem dangerous and I hate the fact that DH had to get some of the

I was telling kids to get off my property when they were throwing rock's in my 30's. I love how they back talked me and said it wasn't my property. Oh and I just remembered I busted a teen peeing too. I told him to pull his pants up and go home and use the potty. Good times in New Hope.

Question: International Flight into Hartsfield-Jackson?
DallasRed replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you park on the lower level curb they don't bother you as much. Just don't leave your car. That is what my agent did when we flew in 4 times to look at houses. I didn't even know about the lower level. I would always park at the top level all of those trips when I picked DH up. Once he landed it did take him about 20 minutes to meet me outside. Depends on how long it takes to get to the gate once they land, how far back he is sitting on the plane and what concourse.
