I had one like that ..... and about 30 minutes into the 10+ hour drive she went extremely silent and scared me, I thought she "scared" herself to ???! ..... pulled over and all was fine with her, she was napping!! It was one of the other 2 I had in the car which proceeded to tell me the 10+ hours in the car that he was not happy at all (and he was the one who would go to the vet sitting calmly on the passenger seat - he arrived safe, sound and hoarse for 3 days. The 3rd didn't talk to me/get near me for about 24 hours upon arrival, but then was just as happy as he normally was. Just FYI

Tybee, Jekyll, Gulf Shores, Folly are all great weekend adventures ....

WOW -- a lot of very talented people! I make a lot of different things, depends on my mood .... a lot of them with polymer clay (beads, boxes, bookmarkers, pens, pins, etc), scrapbook a bit but mostly make journals or cards or notepads, decoupage, and a bunch of other different items. I don't really sell but have been known to part with some items with a donation to the PHS (which they do have a lot of my dog/cat pens & bookmarkers), do give some as gifts but a lot of it I just make and stash until I figure out what to do with them

:::confessing::: Yep, did that for a long time with tubs from spreads, those heat-n-eat meat "plates", other plastics .... finally cleaned out that stash through a friend who needed them and now only keep a few extra ones around just in case to send home with someone. Same thing with egg cartons, but that friend gets the new one every time I empty one = so no having to have them hang around But I have a stash of corks now which I just can't bring myself to trash. I was making things with wine corks, had friends save theirs and now I have a lot ...... they still bring me th

Florida Keys is wonderful -- but think about Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands too. Those are only about 4ish hours by plane, no passport needed (if you are a citizen) and no exchange rate = will feel like you went to another country but really didn't! Of course your timeframe is prime for hurricanes but it is a gamble & you can get insurance through an agent. Any location in the Atlantic or Gulf destination will be that way. If all of these suggestions don't work, then think about what you like to do as a couple -- that will help you determine where else you might like to
