depends on how you define "white bread" .... French, Chibata, other types of "white" bread can be used and similar to corn bread for a substitution with the adding of onions/celery/broth/+++ but each bread brings a different flavor to the dressing.

I had to switch mine a couple of years ago when I lost a lot of weigh. My rings are now engagement then wedding, only because the wedding is slightly smaller and it holds my engagement ring on. They are not a "set". Engagement was purchased new and my wedding band is my DH's Great Grandmothers which was slightly sized at marriage. Works for me
