  2. Back at ya - I almost forgot about this recipe, it has been SO long. It is now to be made in the near future
  3. You would be surprised, but most of that menu is not spicy - just full flavored! and WOW -- after Surepip's menu, mine is a dud (but I'm still looking forward to it). Rope Sausage with Homemade Chili Sauce Poached Eggs with Parmessan Twice Baked Potatoes with Blue Cheese/Sour Cream Don't want a dessert tonight .....
  4. Very Very Pretty ... and I'm sure it is considered priceless
  5. I do something very similar ... Saute Shrimp in a bit of butter / olive oil - remove before fully cooked and set aside Saute mushrooms till tender, add fresh spinach and minced garlic. Add choice of white wine (but I'm going to try your choice next), let simmer and reduce a bit Put back in Shrimp until just about done - squeeze a lemon over all. Serve with spaghetti or angel hair noodles - plus salad and bread. I like your variation and will have to try it! Thanks
  6. If they want to close the business for the day and pay me for it - that works for me
  7. Morning LR! Morning CC! Morning PCOM!
  8. What did you have or what are you having tonight? Today has been a bit BLAH, but I did see the sun, slightly "warmer" than it has been. Still think I need a bit of comfort food but just not completely (if that makes sense ) We are going to have: Crab Rangoon Chicken Fried Rice Pears in a "lite" juice problably no dessert ... How about you?
  9. I'm definitely going to have to check this place out! Saw a blouse (and a couple of other items) that is just calling my name, and I'm not a shopper Where is Captain Eddie's Plaza? I'm just not picturing it in my head and FYI ... website has a "black friday special", 11/27/09, on the front page. Might want to update that
  10. I've asked DH not to do anything. I really don't need roses or candy (which he would get me) or go to make a special effort to go out for a "dinner". Just not me ... don't even need a card We take the day as it is and try to find times throughout the year where we make the other special or just appreciated. It took a lot of years together but it is working I do make sure my planted roses are trimmed and have fertilizer
  11. and you are completely entitled to your opinion as are others including mine which I didn't share, just some posts made me want to :::shakehead::: and not comment further, which I did - not directed at anyone.
  12. I don't know what is going to be done and I didn't direct my post at you. I just didn't believe a lot of the posts made and I commented in the manner in which I wanted. This wasn't a "callout" to anyone in particular but I just couldn't understand some of the posts made and why they felt the need to make the statements they made.
  13. I heard both Kroger is rounding up, along with Publix accepting donations too ... :yahoo" - another item I will do when I pick up needed supplies tomorrow
  14. Hope your youngst gets better soon -- but WOW on the highlighted, that is quite a gift!!! Celebrating the day is just a moment in time, celebrating together is better ... may you find the moment!
  15. Taki is our fave of Japanese in Hiram. Haven't tried Hai Hai or Sapporo - just haven't gone out in a long time. Who did you decide on? & HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
