I was at Walmart at 12am I stood in line for 5 hours to get my grandparents a 32 in LCD tv they gave me the money to buy it for them, I took my brother who stood in line for Rockband for my hubby, I then got a cabbage patch and barbie for my daughter, and a color wonders set and shoes for my son. I got a lot of awesome deals.

We found out yesterday that the code it is putting out says incorrect 4th gear ratio. Not really sure what that means. I am taking it back to my friend tomorrow night and he is going to make sure the wires and sensors are all secure. We have a feeling something has just come loose.

Crap I guess that mean all the parents of babies need to get the info tomorrow. Thank you for letting us know. I wouldn't have known otherwise.

I have tried, their computer will not read these types of codes. I know that somehow this will work out but, right now I feel broke and helpless. I will have a better outlook tomorrow. Just have to get in the "get things done" frame of mind

I'm sorry to hear about yours. I was reading the horror stories like yours a min ago. I would be ticked if mine just quit!! One woman only had 40,000 miles on her's when it happened.

I'm going to need it. Hubby says if it needs a new transmission that come tax season we will just replace it. He says that with a Ford once you put one transmission in it, it won't be long before you have other issues and possible another transmission problem. I'm sad because I love my van. It has been good to me and I love it.

So I took poor Bertha out to Hiram today and had a mechanic friend of mine change the transmission fluid (he didn't flush it)He also changed the filter, did an oil change, and rotated and balanced my tires. So The van is running great!! The only problem is the Overdrive light started flashing again on my way home!!!!!! OMG I am so mentally exhausted now. He told me I need to find a mechanic that has a special computer that reads transmissions. Does anyone know someone who does it? How much should I plan to pay for something like this? On top of that I don't know a mechanic that would take payments.

Me too it's driving me nuts not knowing what's wrong if anything. I just hope it holds out until February.

We took it all the way up to 70 and it still wouldn't do it. I am going to get the transmission filter and fluid changed this afternoon. hopefully that will fix the problem

Well there were no weird noises. No problems other than that. We took it out for a drive a few mins ago to try to get the light to come back on so it could be tested for a code. It didn't work. The van drove fine. No lights flashing or anything. Blah!!! Cars are sooo complicated!

So yesterday I was coming home in my 2002 Ford Windstar from Hiram and my Overdrive light started flashing. I pulled over turned the van off and then started it back up. The light stayed off until I came into Rockmart. It started flashing again. I drove on home and it has been parked since. I don't know what to do. Anyone have a clue what is wrong with my poor van??

OH come on!!!! You won't need back up next summer. LOL!!! Anytime you feeling the need to "mother" I'll drop the kids off. It's a win-win!

I went to see it. I LOVED it!!!! It was soooo much better than twilight. It actually put twilight to shame IMO!!!!! It was totally worth the $9 I paid for the tickets I bought.

I am blessed to have someone who loves my kids and I enough to do this for me. Thank you MOM!! My hubby, MIL, SIL, Me, and my best friend(another p.commer) Will all be at the Midnight showing in Cartersville tonight!!!!!!! I am sooooo excited. I have had my tickets since the first of October!

Since I got married it become hecktic we get up and go to hubby's grandmother's for brunch in euharlee. Then we go to my dad's mother's for lunch in Acworth. After that we go to my mom's mother's house and do dinner in Dallas. It's awesome. Then we come back home to Aragon. We spend a lot of time on the road but, I love to spend time with my family.

I wish!!!! With my son it is different he is 4 and he is awesome! Other than to go to the bathroom he doesn't get out of bed and he goes right to sleep. My daughter on the other hand is 14 months and is the devil when it comes to bedtime. It is a fight every night. She yells and screams then she plays and talks. It is soo frustrating. Sometimes this can go on for an hour! I honestly don't know what to do other than leave her alone.

So my friend and I were talking on facebook. I was also talking to my cousin. My friend has 2 daughters. They are 3 and 1. Mine kids are 4 and 1. My cousin just had a baby who is 6 months. So we are all talking and we are all thanking god that our kids are asleep. It isn't that our kids aren't generally good well behaved kids but, bedtime is a nightmare. They all yell and scream and fuss because they don't want to go to bed. I was just wondering if any of you have the same problem. I have always had the same routine with my kids. Bath, story, bed. They are in bed by 8pm now before the time cha

Now mind you I was a teen (15 to be exact) and not a parent but when I would watch my brother who were 11 and 12. They fought all the time. I would handcuff them together with fake handcuffs. They could do whatever they wanted as long as they were stuck together. sometimes it would take 5 mins sometimes it would take 15 but, they wouldn't fight for a few days after that it was sweet bliss. LOL Now that I am a parent I would do the same with older children but, I would suggest with younger children making them hug or look at each other like the others have suggested.

My husband used to be a server at Macaroni Grill in Kennesaw. This is not a cheap place to eat and he HATED to work the church crowd. You can write on the tables there. When the people would leave he would find a note on the table saying "I gave my 10% to the church!" I had never been so disgusted in my life. What is that saying to the unsaved people? I just don't think it sets a very good example.
