Just an observation, and not directed at "you", just people in general. Unfortunately, since I moved here I have met more self proclaimed "good Christians" that I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw. I noticed this when I started meeting people for the first time and they asked me what Church I was with. As I got to know many of these "Christians", I realized they lied, or I saw them cheating insurance companies, or purchasing big ticket items at stores, using them, and then returning them "new", or they slept with married men. I don't really care how they live their life.....it doesn't

I agree with you about the idiot in Draketown.

Unfortunately, sitting in Church doesn't make you any more a Christian than standing in my garage makes me a car! I will be happy to try this place based on the recommendation of the food, though!

Please send up a prayer for my step-grandmother, Jenny. She is 97 and they just discovered she has colon cancer. They have put her straight into hospice. The Dr's give her a week to 10 days. Until now, Jenny has been healthy as a horse. She's been part of my family for 30 years, and I love her and so do my kids! I pray that God takes her peacefully and quickly. she said she is ready to die. Thanks in advance!

Just curious...........because where I come from nobody cares what Church you go to..........would you eat there if they weren't Christian? And would they still be good people? Not being facetious........just wondering!

I had mine out on Thursday and was back to work on Friday. It was a piece of cake. It was sore near the incision for a while, and since I wear jeans, it was a little uncomfortable, but a piece of cake compared to a c-section!

Yikes! Poor baby. So glad he is ok. I once fell asleep with my 2 week old on the bed, and kicked her off it~ She fell on her head onto a cement floor. 20 years later, she is fine, but I felt really bad about that for a while! We all make mistakes. It's part of being a parent. All's well that ends well!

I LOVE AC. I will take that over Vegas anytime. Actually, I just got back.......and lost my shirt!! It's really changed over the years. There are beach bars now, and it's not as bad off the boardwalk as it was 15 yrs ago. They've cleaned it up nicely. Have fun!!! Enjoy the boardwalk and the beach!

I am lucky to still have my dad here to tell him in person how much I love him. For those of you who don't, here is a father's day poem. Roses grow in heaven, Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my daddy's arms and tell him they're from me. Tell him that I love and miss him and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for a while. Remembering him is easy, I do it every day. There's an ache within my heart that will never go away. Happy Father's day in Heaven and on Earth!

I laid at the pool all day! Just came home because it got dark and windy! Going to the drive in if the weather holds off!

Starlite Six. On Mooreland! It's a great place. I think it is $7 pp (double feature) and kids under 12 are $1 (or $2). YOu can bring a grill. Get there early with friends and make it a party. Tons of fun.........and SAFE. Don't listen to anyone who tells you it's the ghetto or the 'hood. It's fine! Been there many times! We on;y stay for the firstmovie (starts around 9) and it's all families, but we see family friendly movies.

We are going to see it at the drive in tomorrow! Looking forward to it!
