She's pretty sure it fell off the car in vista lake and someone picked it up. There was a $4000 check in there, but we stopped payment on it. The phone is an lg xenon........so if your child shows up with a new phone and mp3 player, it may belong to my sister.

Did you find a small black backpack/purse? My dopey sister drove off with hers on the roof of her car. Her phone was in it. She drove from Vista Lake to Hiram on 278. Please let me know if you found it. Thanks!

I am switching insurance for my children. Does anyone have Coventry One? Can you suggest a pediatrician?? Does anyone know Dr Carter at West Altanta Ped? Dr Julia Gaines at Cobb ped? Dr Amy Murray at Wellstar?? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

I could never understand politicians campaigning on others weaknesses instead of their own strengths. That is what we look for when we vote..........at least I do.

Go tubing in Cherokee! IT is a ton of fun, and inexpensive! I think it is $8 pp.

I was just going to post the same thing. I ALWAYS wear heels!! lol. I can't walk in flats because I have been wearing heels for 33 years. I've done Pat O'Brien's in Fla. We had a blast, but I don't think my husband will like it.......and he doesn't drink. I, however, do!! And I WILL! I really want to go to the cemetary, and eat some good food. My sister, Shannon, had a best friend. Candy lives in New Orleans, so I might get together with her for dinner, but we will be on our own for most of the day. Keep the suggestions coming. I have a map and I am prepared to use it!!

I am going to be in New Orleans for only one day. What should I see and where should I eat? I will have a car. Thanks!

Thanks! That brought tears to my eyes. If he hadn't survived, the rest of them wouldn't be here right now! Amazing!

I have been researching this as well. I want to get one for my daughter (Sorry Bookworm.....she is in YOUR store all the time spending money!! Guess that will stop). It seems the Kindle got much better reviews on the websites I looked at. I won't be getting her one until Christmas, so I still have a few months to research!

Can my husband bring our daughter and register her tomorrow???

They have complete health insurance through the program. They are required to have a certain amount of spending money per month. I didn't buy Roberto any clothes, except as gifts because I wanted to. I have never had a bad experience. These kids are well behaved, but sometimes a child may not mesh with a family. In that case, they find a new family, sometimes out of state. The worst part is what I am experiencing.......I LOVE my boy! He doesn't want to go, and we don't want him to. He already told me he will be crying like a baby at the airport! So will I! There are alot of "what

Simple........you get to be the parent for the school year. The kids they send are great students. The parents pay the program between $10,000-$20,000 for their child to participate. Believe me, you get the well behaved ones! They don't want to get sent home. We have had 3 girls.........Roberto was our first boy. I was nervous about that, but I would take another boy in a hearbeat! They are fantastic. My kids are 7, 10 and 20, so he fell right in the middle. He was 18 when he came. Roberto fit in with us from the moment he got off the plane and hugged me. He will always be my "son" a

I got one response..........anyone else? If not for this year, then please consider for next year! Actually, I have just been made aware that there may be another child for South Paulding that needs placement as well!!
-
Sorry Katt- Can't even bring myself to drive past that place anymore. The 2 times I did, his messages on his roadsign were beyond belief!!

Nobody??? It doesn't cost anything. You give the a room and food.....that's it! They don't even need their own room (if they share it must be same sex only). They are part of the family. They help with chores, watch younger children, keep up their rooms......anything you expect your own children to do. In exchange, you get to experience their first Easter Bunny (that's an American custom!), their first Halloween.........and the PROM!! So much fun! Please consider it........or ask your friends or neighbors. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.......... Please......y

I have had the wonderful experience of hosting an exhange student this past school year. Roberto has become part of our family. He has been wonderful, and he is leaving on Tuesday. I will miss him dearly. My kids feel like they are losing their big brother. On a happy note, I am getting Elise from Norway as my new exchange daughter. We can't wait! We are SO excited. Hosting an exchange student is BEYOND rewarding! The memories are amazing. You learn as much from them as they do for you. Remember the first time you took your child to the zoo because you wanted to see it all thr
