We are switching Monday to a comcast bundle. We are keeping our same tv package (includes 300 channels and HBO) and adding home phone and internet for $119 total. That is about $80 less than I was paying before. BTW, this includes 5 boxes for our TVs.

My heart is breakingf for Brigette's family and friends. I had a dream about her the other night..... The fundraiser at Sparkles on Sunday is still going to happen. Her family still needs help, and this will be a great way for her friends to remember Brigette. If anyone has contact with her family, we can play a photo montage of Brigette on our big screen if you can provide pics on a CD. God Bless that Barron family. Rest peacefully, sweet angel.

I don't think it was demeaning at all. She was teaching a very valuable lesson, imo. I think it depends on how the children were chosen. If the teacher said "first three rows are slaves and second three rows are masters" and Nikko just happened to sit in one of the rows that were slaves, it was a random choice. If she said "Nikko, you have to be a slave", then she made that decision based on the color of his skin, and that is wrong. Yep. They only have 1 or 2 recruitments a year. I came across it by accident 2 yrs ago, and my son has been waiting to turn 8 so he could join.

He's 8...........and just joined the Young Marines! Rumor has it that the instructors are pretty tough (this comes from the instructors), but I think he will survive it! At least, I hope so. It's at Dobbins on Saturdays for 6 weeks, and he gets to go to Parris Island in July, which he is really excited about. We are a USMC family, so he is following in his father's, uncles' and grandfather's foorsteps. Hoo Rah!

I got it on my home phone. I went to their website to try to stop the calls, and logged in with my email, but it says I am not registered. I must be if they call my home. I don't want 2 am phone calls. I can hear the sirens from my house.............

of pcommers when it comes to a new place to eat. I did this weekend...........and wish I hadn't. That was $45 and an hour of my life I will never get back.
