How were the crowds at your voting site?
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to The Sound Guy's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Twinsister and I were poll workers at Nebo. It was our first time. I just want to thank all the folks who came out to Nebo to vote. You were all tired. I was tired too. We only had 10 machines. This was decided by someone higher up than us, believe me. The other Nebo poll workers have been working for elections for a while. They couldn't understand why there were only 10 machines and we never got that question answered. It was a 17 hour day for all of us and we only got one break to eat. Twinsister and I rotated doing the duty at the door. We were instructed if you are elderly, -
LR, I am praying for you during your surgery and your time of healing. I'm glad they moved your time up. Just know that 9AM to a hospital may mean 9:30....10:00...10:15, but it's better than 2:30PM.

I worked as a poll worker at Nebo. It was my first time doing it. It was a long 17 hour day for me. I couldn't believe the amount of people who voted. If you saw a lady walking up and down the rows of people asking if they were at the right precinct....that was me or my twin sister. We tried to make sure everyone was at the right place. We asked why there was only 10 machines and we never got an answer. Crazy!!! The last person voted at 9:05 and we got out of there at 10:30. See above. I also met and talked with so many interesting people. My instructions as a poll worke

My husband had his out a year or so ago. No problems. He had a hernia repaired at the same time and he had pain because of that. He looked like I kicked him in the stomach. I really didn't do that!....on purpose. LOL The bruising and pain were from the hernia repair and not the gall bladder, we were told. He was sore for several days. I know you will have some anxity about being cut on, but the way they do it with the little holes for the instruments, it will be a breeze and you should be back to feeling great in a couple of days.

Raining hard here in NE Paulding. Thunder and lightening too.

I love the name you picked and your business card thingy!!

Denise, I don't know if I ever responded to you when you were going thru the grieve of the accident and then loosing your precious little one, but I prayed for you. I am responding to you know to tell you that God is still in the business of miracles. You know that. I am praying for you and your husband. I am proud to say that my DIL just decided to become a bone marrow donnor. I don't know if your husband's cancer is past that part, but your situation makes me glad that my DIL is brave enough to hope to donate her bone marrow one day.

Anybody on East Paulding get a visit today?
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to PastorMatt1978's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't live in that area. I just wanted to say it was so good to finally meet you and your wife today. Thanks for all the information we got. You are doing a wonderful thing. Keep it up. -
Well, the last I heard it was us "rich folk" that are getting a new Library. The library is right down the road from this school. Anyway, cars on this road fly, so I am glad this child was found before he/she was hit.
-
Yes it is in Paulding. It is between Cedarcrest and Dabbs Bridge on the NE side of Paulding. (Where the rich folks have moved in and us poor folk have lived for a long time)

DS MAKES CAREER ANNOUNCEMENT................
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know you and he are so excited. Twinsis and I will have to have the dates and directions so we can go see this. Maybe Mama too. -
I hope they find them. I am glad your family is okay.

LR, it really wasn't that bad at all. The tech (or whatever she was) made me very comfortable with a warm blanket and I did nap some. LOL I was just glad to have a diagnosis so I could do what I needed to get rid of my pain. My pain was in the middle of my belly under my breast. It was not the typical place that the Gall Bladder hurts, but since Gastroparesis is kinda unheard of and rare, they checked that first. I never heard of GP until I got it. I hope they find out what's going on with you soon and you can fix the problem. Pain ain't good.

Santa Pics with Johnboy Automotive & Charlies Angels
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to thedeanfurkids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I saw my sweet great nephew and Twinsis in your pictures. He was afraid of Santa. I love the little one crying. I mean I hate it that she was scared, but it was a cute picture. I love the guy's shirt in the last one. LOL -
I'm in my 50's and feel like I'm in my 30's. I wish I wasn't as shy as I used to be. I speak up for myself now. I didn't used to do that. I have made mistakes and I can look at why and how they happened and will not repeat them. For my future mistakes, I hope I learn from them too.

Before the docs found out I had Gastroparesis (Slow to Empty Stomach) they did test for my Gall Bladder. One was easy and long. I had to eat some eggs with radio active stuff in them. I'm not sure what they put in them, but the eggs were gross. Then I had to lay still on a table for approximately 1 and a half hours with this machine thingy hanging over me. It would take pictures every 2 minutes I think. Just having to be still was a pain, but there was was really no pain to it. I did this at the Paulding Hospital. They found my Gall Bladder was fine in this test and moved on to a lo

Congrats on the twins. I am an identical twin. My sis is my other half all the time. They will love the bond they will share.

Our church had an awesome Craft Show / Yard Sale in August. We are going to have one in the spring. I will keep you updated. North Star Church is having one in December. It's in Acworth or Kennesaw, I forget. It's 2 days, but it's $100.00 for a booth. It is run by Jim Miller. Google Christmas at North Star and you can find it. Also check out West Georgia Crafts. There is a list there of craft shows. They try to keep it updated. I haven't checked it in a while.

Crossroads Public Library Info Meeting
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to Christine0402's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Hey Hey Hey Cee Jay, some of us folks in the north end of the county were here before those rich folks moved in!!!! We need librarys too!!! -
I watch Teen Mom, but usually "ON Demand" on Comcast. So I am behind on watching. Did Maci and Ryan get back together. He is a cutie, but L-A-Z-Y. As far as Amber and Gary, they both get on my nerves. I don't see what either of them sees in the other. Caitlyn needs to move far far away from her mother. I don't know how she has any self esteem (sp) being around her Mom. Her Mom has to know that Caitlyn's life would have been better if she had given her up for adoption. Didn't her Mom have a baby around the same time? Did they even say that Farrah's baby daddy died back in t

I've never had pet insurance on my dogs. I don't think my vet takes any, but I might check into it. Weatherboy, I'm sorry your insurance got canceled. Have you made any calls to them to see why? I would and stay on them. Obama wouldn't like you not having insurance.
