You don't have to have a land line. I have AT&T DSL but no landline. $29.95/month. Cheaper the first year. I have wireless (4 computers + kindle, etc. running) I have Dish satellite, and they send me a wireless adapter (free) to hook up to the TV and box so I can get the movies, etc.

Tripp Halstead has Bacterial Meningitis
sungoddess replied to tuscanytrailer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It truly is making my stomach sick to think ANYONE could say anything cruel or bad. I don't know if it is hate filled or maybe jealousy. I just pray sooooo very hard, as I have done daily, that this family will be filled with love, health and peace and little Tripp will rise above all of this illness. HE MUST! I am hurting just thinking about how little Tripp is hurting and praying God heals him and won't let him hurt any more and make him well ALL OVER his little body. -

Yep, me too; I am such a cry baby. God bless this sweet mom, dad, family and baby! -
"is believed to be" are the key words. Sure hope and pray it is him, but I watch "I almost got away with it" and have seen how many, many times criminals have made fools of our law enforcement agencies. Let's pray hard!

The can't even say for sure it is him or IF the person is even still in the cabin. AND if the cabin burned, if they find a body, I don't think they can identify the body immediately either. A LOT of unknowns here. He is probably laughing all the way to the Mexico border!

I filed via turbo tax Saturday, 2/2, both accepted, fed in my account 2/9, still waiting on state.

Sorry it happened to you. I KNOW how you feel. A lady ran into me downtown -- she had no insurance -- and her comment was, "your insurance will take care of it." Yep, I had to pay the $250, but like I told her, I pay my insurance to take care of ME, and it sured ticked me off I had to take care of her too. I work 2 jobs and what little $$$ I have, I SURE as heck resented having to spend because of her irresponsibility.

Thanks for the info; our case manager had told me about this. I have no handicap van yet I can transport my son with so he can go, but I sure hope I will be able to attend.

Coming down Nebo tonight about 12:30 a.m. and had to pull over to let 4 police cars, lights, sirens and as fast as they could go! Anyone know?

Praying and yes, he MUST keep those good memories! Sorry for all your losses and yes, I am there too; I am old and have lost several, and each time, the hurt is overwhelming, and I still shed tears occasionally thinking about them. I have two 4-year olds now - dachshund and yorkie. God bless him.

May she get EXACTLY what she gave her daughter!

I'm right there with most everyone that the brother did it; the parents covered it up. They lost their daughter and couldn't stand the thought of losing him! IF he did, I just hope it bothers him so bad that one day he will confess. What can they do to a 12 year old? Of course, he's an adult now, but the murder happened when he was 12. Oh, and we ALL know the police covered it up too.

WOW! -- my social security taxes increased $119.42/month since last year. When I looked at my paycheck and saw a -$119.42 difference, I printed off the earnings history for the entire year. Guess I will have to decrease the percent I put into 401-K now. Normally I increase it by 2% yearly! MAKES ME SICK! ESPECIALLY when we know it won't be there for those retiring later on down the road.

sungoddess replied to subby1's topic in Business NEWS
Thanks for delivering the mower and picking up the old one! You should have come in to see us! Jerry said you were in a hurry, but thanks again. -
The crockpot is about the only way I cook chicken any more. EXCEPT summertime, then it is grill time. I also put chicken in the pot, add Zatarain's wild rice sometimes and then sometimes I use chicken and mushroom soup and rice! It is ALWAYS good. Done the barbecue too.

Yep, the Hiram PD are VERY busy. I have been stopped 2 times and 1 ticket (which I deserved) in the last 2 months of 2012. I no longer travel Bill Carruth to work ! And just to add, yes, I have definitely seen an increase in crime over the past year in Hiram. However, hopefully we will NEVER get as bad as Douglasville.
