I so hurt for your loss, Laurie, and Patty Cakes was so lucky to have you and your hubby to love her and take such good care of her in her last years. Yes, she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge with many of mine, and I, too, have a large pet cemetery. It brings me many fond memories but makes me cry too. Glad you have other fur babies to hug and love as you wipe away the tears for Patty Cakes. xoxoxox I LOVE my furbabies too!

I have noticed that many times here lately when I log onto websites, and my FB pic and comment is down on the page below. I never log in through FB and I guess it just links it automatically somehow. Don't know myself, but I never use those comments blocks through a website.

So depressing and disgusting that parents have such little respect and these girls have NONE. Do these people not understand that people look down on them and not up to them? PLEASE, if you act like a piece of chit with no class, THAT is how you will be treated too. Is that what you want? As Rodney Dangfield said, "I get no respect" ... Nope, this class of people do not give respect and will not receive respect!

I know they say that 90% of the time the dogs make a hit, it is correct; however, how "decayed" can a body be in the timeframe missing and the time the dad arrived and call made? I am confused here. I have comfort in the fact if Lisa has left us, she is in a much better and happier place. God bless them all and comfort them whatever has happened.

If the dad did or knows anything, he WILL cave. You can tell by his demeanor he won't be able to deceive anyone for long. JIMO, of course.

No excuses should be made for a "bad" driver running a stop sign. Yeah, maybe a little late because he/she is not familiar with the route, but NOT running a stop sign. NOT!

I do sympathize with the police in many ways and even more so in the past 10 years. I ran into a similar scenario when I was speeding trying to get to Florida for my mom's surgery. All he said was, "do you want your mom to come to your funeral instead?" Point taken. Yep, I took the ticket and slowed down.

NOOOOOOOOOO, at least the one time I made it, I combined several different recipes (because of the recipes I had, at least one ingredient I like was missing) and it took me hours. It was good though. It all got eaten at the party and I had a HUGE pot. Does anyone have an easy, simple recipe? Oh, and I use Captain Morgan's in my egg nog too; nothing like having a big ole bonfire with lots of friends and a fire in the den and sipping egg nog!

I do think we should keep the postal service, but just cut back because we sure do not need 6 day deliveries. I always use UPS for my packages; however, about a month ago, I decided I would send a package to my bro in Florida through the postal service. BOY was that a mistake. It took 10 days, and then the only reason he got it was because he met the mailtruck at the mailbox and told him he had been expecting a package and wondered why he had not received it. The mail person went to the back of his truck and found it under some other mail. No more packages through the USPS do I send. I s

I am sure they all realize that when you enter those in your bill pay. The ones that do not have electronic services, I deliver to their office (i.e, water bill). HOWEVER, that still leaves me 14 out of 15 that go electronically.

OMG; I sure was hoping they wouldn't reach Hiram. I am getting sevin dust, moth balls, anything and everything I can to prevent this from attacking us outside 'cause I LIVE for the outdoors....

Yep, that is the ONLY time I grocery shop. I get off at midnight, hit the grocery store around 12:45 a.m. LOVE IT too.

If it had been a little boy, that whole scenario would have been quite different. The give the little girls up for adoption. I have a friend that has adopted 3 of them.

I mail maybe one a month, but will buy up some forever stamps. AND WHY do we not cut back on postal services -- most all of us use electronic payments now. And that mail we DO get we recycle immediately without even looking at! Dang Government..... Waste our money and then raise postage -- they say they raise gas, etc. because of supply and demand - what's up with postage -- definitely not in demand.

Funny, but so true. If this mom drank her wine like my sister (tea glasses) or straight from the bottle like some on here (?), I can see her passing out. IF and when I drink wine, I must use the wine glasses 'cause I don't care for it much.

That's just it; there are a LOT of unaswered questions that we don't know about, but I am sure these questions have been answered to the police, etc. That's why it is so hard to reach an "opinion" on the issue. I still can't form an opinion yet. I SURE don't want to think the parents did it, though that might very well be, but until we know more, how can we say yet? I never had what I called an American Dream, but I have had goals ever since I was a child. My recent goal was to have my home paid for by the time I retire (at age 66) and have a certain amount in my 401-K so I can survive independently of any family or government. I saw this on the news this a.m. NOT that the parents hired him, but that he was hired and paid by an unknown source to represent the parents. It broke me up that he said he took the case after days of investigation because he would never take a case if he didn't believe in their innocence. Yeah, sure, $$$$ has NOTHING to do with it, Joe.

I am WAY up in north W.VA - Wheeling -- and our hotel is up on a hill (I call it a mountain). We see deer and groundhogs, etc. nearly every night coming and going. I need to post a pic if I get time to take it because it is beautiful country here too!

I did not close my ST account, but redirected my payroll check to my LGE credit union account and cancelled my debit card with ST. I did direct 10% of my payroll to continue to go to ST (because of some auto transactions I had set up), but will set up all my bill pay transactions with LGE.
