Thanks all; I will try the salvage place, and yes, I knew anything that happened would total it, and it is only valued at $3900, so I chose not to pay for collision; however, had I known in 3 days she would hit a deer, I CERTAINLY might have paid for collision!

It deployed the airbags, and I did not get collision on the car -- only liability. So, anyone have any idea where I can purchase both airbags at a good price. She is only 18, and this is her first car and would appreciate any ideas. Thanks, Diane

I buy some from a friend of a friend that does sweet spicy pickles, and I LOVE them. They have jalapenos in them. Sorry, I do not have the recipe or I would make some for me, but I know they are sweet AND hot.

That is exactly what I was thinking and would have to agree on this!

I would just think of the child and not hold it against the grandparents for what they did with the car. Keep the two issues separate because IMO children do need to know their family. UNLESS that family is bad for the child, that is. At this point, it seems all they deserve is acknowledgement as a grandparent. Good luck. BTW, I voted to tell them how you feel, but in a manner that the law won't have to be called!

I think her defense team is TRYING to make her look insane and something crazy will happen before the end, and they'll have to stop the trial and claim an insanity defense! Really, that IS her only defense; what sane "mother" could do this? Hope I am wrong. And I think her parents are in on this plan.
