Natural Gas Prices - COLD Weather on it's way
Pseudofed replied to Pseudofed's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Wow, I just looked at this site.... Excellent for learning about gas and your selection choices!!!! Get a paper and pen handy and get ready for some really good info. After you've got the numbers written down...make the calls...asking their current plans, bestrates, price per therm, monthly Customer Service Charges,e tc.... and make the selection. But, make sure they can provide service to you living in paulding... http://mynaturalgascoach.com/ -
Natural Gas Prices - COLD Weather on it's way

"May be right"......JLH10101 is correct (and thank you).....I'm not promoting anything...I'm just trying to figure out before I lock in a rate (and I've resolved to go with 6 months), the lowest rate I can find. Of course, I dont use that much anyway...still..........I'm only involved in gas so far as the mexican burritos allow me to be.... I usually enjoy negotiations of all sorts and have probably read and taught more classes on negotiation than I can recall... In any case...again...NO, I'm not promoting anything or anyone..... but I certainly have several sites to review before -
Natural Gas Prices - COLD Weather on it's way

I just called SCANA and asked what their best current rates was as of today 10-16-09.. (Virginia) told me that their best rate for 6 mos. is .859/therm with a $25.00 credit and for 12 mos the best as of today is .889/therm and the $25.00 credit..... She said that SCANA negotiates their rates in accordance with the price of fuels si I should wtch the gas prices... when they're down....natural gas providers can renogotiate their rates and offer higher or lower prices to their customers....not including the customer services charges and the AGL pass thru charges (which usually makes -
With the pending cold weather, I've been inundated with letters offering the locked in rates. I know that if I can find the provider that has the lowest current rate, I can negotiate with my current provider to meet or even beat their prices.... so we should work together to get the best price we can per Therm... Please let us know what you're paying...have you already locked in your price... do you wait to lock in until it gets colder??? I want to lock my price in but keep seeing lower prices... Opinions? Anyone in the industry that can give some insight and inside info???

Interesting.... My daughter was with me all last weekend...running around...playing with the neighbors kids and we even had a great BBQ on Sunday evening.....she felt great. On Monday about mid-day on the drive back to Alabama, she got alittle quiet and said her stomach hurt and head alittle. So I stopped and got her some McDonalds (I know, not the healthiest...but again, she was fine and hadn't eaten much.so...)...She had a little to drink and some of the nuggets.... That was it. I got a call from her mother that evenng that she had a temperature of 102 and had given her some

Whew.... I've been involved in Emergency Response for over 20 years.....and a former CPR and Advanced Life Support Instructor for about 5. I'd love to tell you that watching a video and giving information like this is great, but should be augmented by insisting that people take classes and learn the correct hand positioning for compressions...for an adult, a child...an infant...someone obese or pregnant, etc... If not using the correct positioning...you'll crack ribs (which happens a lot) sometimes puncturing the lungs and defeating the purpose for helping in the first place... of -
Okay...so for those of us that are confused.... it says 'join us'...but doesn't say where.... Is this Bingo an 'on-line' game or does everyone actually meet someplace....and if so...with the difficulty it sounds like people are having getting these cards...can't they be available at whatever location you're meeting at tonight? I saw the topic and thought, Hmmmm, head out to play a little bingo with some fun-lovin' people might be nice, but there's nothing about the who, what, where, etc.....and it now being almost 7pm so....I'll have to pass on tonight......... is this a recuring event?..

Now that the Flooding is over (for the moment)
Pseudofed replied to Pseudofed's topic in RECENT TOPICS
On Monday I didn't know what to expect but it seems like every turn was a blocked road...that was a long night...Ileft the office at 5pm and after numerous blocked streets and windy roads I finally stoppped at the Kroger on Brownsville road and just shut the engine off for a while.... I ended up going inside...getting something to eat and use their restroom..... I tried numerous routes and all were flooded...I finally headed up thru Hiram...down 92 (which was blocked), over on Ridge Rd, down 61 to bankhead where I encountered a construction crew working on the road and they re-rerouted me up -
With the flooding and road closures this past week....admittedly, I found myself in this endless loop of cars all making u-turns and no one knowing that a road 4 miles down was closed. Luckily, I actually recognized a car that had gone down a road long before me and I saw it come back...that saved me about an hour of wasted time. It took me over 5 hours to get home Monday night...4 hours to get to work Tuesday...

Good Morning Pcommers'.... My daughter went downstairs to play video games while I made breakfast.....she keeps calling me down there to watch, but I'm trying to get things done upstairs... I wanted to bring her to the Fair but it looks like the rain would make it a muddy mess, not to mention the posible oversaturated ground might make a few smaller roads difficult to manuever around again (but not likely as bad as the past week!)...hmm, sounds like a good thread to start..... Have a great day everyone. anyone still going to the State Fair in Marietta??

Hmmm.... I was the first non-employee to eat at El Pollo Loco and knew the guys cooperatively who owned the franchise. Hiram was the first El Pollo Loco in the state of Georgia. Their franchise included a provision to open 50 locations with 5 years... I know they got a few open...but not nearly the 50 they hoped. I suspect there was more to the closing than just a downturn in food...service, location and yes...the economy (they were a little pricey). Admittedly, as one of the first 100, I also got a card to eat there free for a year... I really didn't use the card as much as I thought

A Bump for your parties and products (I guess I kinda owe you) remote control huh..... ...okay...that sounds like it could be kinda fun presuming she's wearing it out someplace..or not :-) and you're given the remote for fun....., but don't the batteries bulge out from someplace?

   Admittedly, the title caught my attention (as it did over 100 others), and I'm sorry Kelly, but honestly....who are they really for...? I'd be laughing too hard....and they'd probably be the only thing turned on....

Good question....pancakes (a short stack or for the big guys...a big stack)...Juice, eggs, sausage, bacon???

Funny, when we were kids...if we were stuffy or had a little cold.....we'd get a shot of "Rock n' Rye" and that was enough to clear out our nose and we'd sleep through the night.... Found out later they (the mfg) was bought by another distiller, but if you can find the original R&R....I think it was made by 'Dekuyper'...something like that...... The Rock N' Rye...stood for Rock Candy and Rye Whiskey......no wonder we liked it..............

This is the craft fair....I think it's next weekend. If I recall, parking was free but you still have an entrance fee....so I suppose you could consider that a parking/entrance fee I remember going to this a few years ago when I saw something posted on Pcom and thought it was a great way to spend a few hours. I was right. ..it was great and I had (someone had to) eat two of the Funnel cakes Everyone has a GREAT time....
