Is this any different from parents that hire full time nannys as care givers?? Are they more fit because they pay someone?? I think not. Praying for the mom in her.

Never served as a Unit Leader, only on a District Level. This is my 16th Year in Scouting, I guess my first leadership position in the district was some time around 1996. -
Yep and they will put all the condiments on the side for folks to add as they please. You can make a couple of those 12 foot sammies go a long, long way.

Wooooo Hoooo Mr. Dis!!! Guess I should have known you have a Scouting background. OK who else on here was a scout, is an Eagle Scout, was a leader (Cub Scout or Boy Scout). Come on they need you for this celebration. If you can't make the one one March, there will be other opportunities -

You need to see if anyone can talk to Judge Fudger, I believe he was part of the "original Paulding County Troop". Not 100% sure but I know he was a Scout Leader at the Methodist Church many moons ago. Great person, actually served as the District Chairman a couple of years ago. PM me and I can give you some more names. -
Subby, don't burn pine in your fireplace...............there are several places around that have firewood stacked up in their yards selling smaller quantities. I passed one that had a trailer load on Nebo Road Sunday. Check around before you burn pine, we don't want you to burn the house down. I have some you can have if you need it that bad. Check with Troy on Goldmine Road as well. His number is 770-445-3009, he owns a tree service. He might cut you a deal if you go get it.

Dang, thank goodness that playdough didn't get past security. Did he have it in his underwear, too??? -
I don't like any of them. A & B have graduation on Memorial weekend..............that is a horrible time for graduation. Option C doesn't have as much time off in February but graduation is a week earlier. Personally, I like them to start later and end a little later. Fall break around Thanksgiving is best. Calendar C does not do that...............they are all awful.

Don't rush it, they are not great grandparents yet. Just wonderful grandparents (sorry L&li I couldn't resist)

Yes, great advice. With all the rain we have had, there are probably a good many ponds that have a lot more water in them than they have in a long time. I noticed our neighbors pond has more water than it ever had in the 16 years it's been there. The top is frozen, has been for a couple of days, it could be very dangerous for kids. Thank goodness he has none and it is fenced in. Please tell the kids!!! -
It is????? Sunny and 70 here in Yorkville.

Lacey, thank goodness you took the important stuff out of it. Dang, it's awful cold to be out robbing stuff out of vehicles!! Those theives must really be desperate. I hope they learn how to operate a jeep............might keep them out of trouble for a while if they read it!! So glad it wasn't worse, hope they catch them soon. This is happening waaaayyy too much lately.

Our Heating and Air guy said if we like the warmth that comes out of the vents we shouldn't go with a heat pump. It is supposed to be more affordable but duing cold weather like this he said you would feel cooler air coming out of the vents. We have a heat pump at the office and all the vents are in the ceilings so I really don't notice it that much. The other plus side to this is the air conditioner is supposed to work more efficiently with a heat pump. Get a heating blanket, light a fire and stay warm.

Lady Raider you will love it, the food is soooooo good. It's all buffet so go hungry. It is very clean and everything is really fresh and home cooked. Their sweet tea is very good, too. They don't serve any soft drinks, just tea, lemonade and water. The porch they enclosed is so nice, the dining rooms are nice too but the porch has windows on three sides. The wait staff is very friendly and they make sure your glasses are always full. The dress is not realy dressy, kinda of nice casual, I've seen several people in suits and Sunday Best and have seen others in shorts and sandals.

I wonder if someone just wanted to use it for a storage building, would it fall under these codes?? That's a relatively inexpensive storage building. I wouldn't let it just sit there for someone else to get for free. Maybe he could look into Polk or Harralson County.

Those that might remember we took Liberty Lady's dog last year when she could no longer keep him. He is absolutely the best dog, ever. We had a tree taken out of his run because the sweet gum balls are such a menace and we didn't want him to get hurt. Anyway it left a huge stump that has become his throne, he loves the high perch. Well hubby put a rug on it for him a couple of weeks ago and of course he pulled it off. Couple of days later, he pulled it back up there, by himself!! Yesterday with it being so cold, Hubby put an old blanket out there for him, he dragged that blanket
