I had a discussion with my kids last Friday over dinner that the speech was coming. I gave them no insight to my feelings one way or another about the person or the speech. I simply told them to expect this when they returned to school on Tuesday. My son (age 9) stated he didn't want to listen to a presidential speech and that he'd put his head on his desk. I said, oh no you won't! That's disrespectful to the office that he holds and you will not do that! Well, my son was very sick and at the Dr. today, so now I guess I appear to the school system as some sort of "protester". I serious
