  1. Ah, it doesn't matter what we think, except that he put it out there seeking conversation and opinions on the subject. He's now disappointed that (without knowing all the facts) everyone isn't jumping on his bandwagon and railing against city hall. Most appear to seem to want to be objective and get all the facts before reaching a conclusion. Surepip seems to prefer that we all just assume that he is presenting his case truthfully and objectively. Civil cases generally take a while to complete. I'm not seeing a conspiracy yet.
  2. Justice @ The Avenue. 40% off!!!
  3. The florist is attempting to pay legal fees. The case was decided by a Judge in April 2006. It's over.
  4. Is the county included in your lawsuit? The money isn't simply protecting the developer (without knowing the details) it could very well be protecting the citizens of the county. Why are you twisting how Holland & Knight spends their earned fees? Do you know how Kroger spends the money you pay them for their services? "frivolous and unnecessary"? Aren't you the Plaintiff? What part of protecting the county assets is frivolous and unnecessary? Does your attorney know you continuously comment on a pending litigation? Have you considered your potential jury pool? Also, re
  5. Please let me know if you have an extra UGA.
  6. They may have church in this building that they own. They are not being allowed to expand the building.
  7. There is also some indication that the church hasn't been entirely honest about their membership numbers.
  8. Thinking of you. I know how hard this is. May wonderful memories comfort you.
  9. I had to have one fixed several years ago. My employer took care of that with his accountant because it was an accountant error. I recall that it was a pain for him, but I didn't have to do anything. Good luck!
  10. I'm so sorry this happened to you. It would be good if someone recognized some of the items and could call the police.
  11. I don't think you could say which is worse. It's apples to oranges. What he is accused of doing is awful and a huge detriment to his family. The media coverage I can turn off in my own home. My son actually saw it at someone else's home where I have little control over what is on the TV. For some reason, the media seems to think the public wants to know. Just shows either they have an extremely low opinion of the public at large or the opinion is correct and folks love the dirty details of other people's lives. Maybe it's validation for some that money truly doesn't buy happiness or cl
  12. the Paula Deen recipe also provides the recipe for the raspberry syrup as well. It's very good, in fact I liked it better than the casserole. I made it last Christmas and it was just okay which really surprised me coming from Paula. But my family aren't huge fans of french toast.
  13. Personally, I say charge them with murder. That baby would have been viable outside the womb.
  14. yes, he is. Tiger's actions don't effect me or my family. Or yours either for that matter. This is between him and his wife. I don't pay him. I don't own any of his merchandise. He doesn't represent me. He plays golf. I don't watch golf. While I did believe he was a better man than what is being portrayed, it's really none of my business.
  15. My son (9) saw all of this on the news and was very upset about it. We aren't golfers, but he likes Tiger and knows who he is. He wants to know why people are saying bad stuff about Tiger. I told him it was because folks had their nose where it didn't belong. So, now he's mad at the news media who won't leave Tiger alone.
  16. ::whispering:: Okay, DON'T tell him I said so, but he is a great guy.
  17. In the past I've just had folks come to my home. Lately, not so much.
  18. I know how hard all of this is. Thinking of you all.
  19. Would I pose? No I believe that some see it as a beautiful art form. I have no issues with the human body, but have never desired to own any art pieces that displayed nudity for use in my home. But, I'm not a fan of abstract either. A matter of taste for me, it's just not mine.
  20. It's not complete, the Griswold house is missing.
  21. Most years we have 7. 6 ft on front porch, 7 1/2 in living room, 4 ft in dining room, 2 miniatures (2 ft) and one in each child's room. Each with trunks, branches, lights and individually hung ornaments. This year, only 3. Just couldn't get it together to get them all up this year.
