I watched an interview with Reed (didn't watch their debate) and he and Norwood seemed to have similar goals for the city. So, I think either one would do a good job. Of course, I don't really have a dog in this fight. Just my .02.

I know. It looks bad doesn't it. Reed seems like a nice guy and I think for the most part they ran a pretty good campaign. I really hate it when candidates are sending vans/buses to transport folks to voting booths. I know everyone has a right to vote, but there has be a non-partisan way to pull that off. I certainly understand providing transportation to the elderly or handicapped, but I think you could use the transportation systems already in place for the elderly vs. having a candidate provide it. I know this is about "themes" and that's been lost somewhere, so here's my thoughts on the off-shoot. - Make a certain area a "candy free zone" and alert those non-candy folks to the area. Like maybe at the very beginning. - assign a few boy/girl scouts to each float to hand out the candy.

I guess she's lucky she made it this long. Seems gallstones are common during pregnancy. I had them with I was pregnant with my daughter. Didn't have the gallbladder out until she was 4 weeks old.

My mother is a diabetic and I talked her into trying it. The info I read said 1 tsp to 8 oz of water before meals. She vomited it back up before it hit her stomach good, so not sure how to recommend taking it. You can also try adding it to salad dressings, or other creative ways.

How do you get advance tickets for the Festival of Trees? Or do you buy them that day at the ticket counter?

Our family had a wonderful time! Ran into a lot of friends. I thought the grandstand area was great! I even have a picture of you guys up there. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Craft Cottage! We dressed in layers, had a bag with plenty of extra scarves and quilts just in case. Didn't even need the extras and toward the end my daughter said she was getting hot. The folks in the Main Street Grill were awesome too!

Sorry I missed you. We left as soon as it was over.

I buy my kids new Christmas PJs and they open them Christmas Eve as a gift from Mom and Dad. Then they wear them to bed and look so cute for the Christmas morning pics.
