I made that decision almost 13 years ago. Keep busy?? HA! There is more than enough stuff to do around here to keep me busy for a lifetime. Connect with some other SAHM's. I have housework, , cooking, cleaning, paying bills, running here and there, etc. Then when I have spare time I like to get together with with girlfriends or just plain ol' rest.

I think the body is a beautiful work of art and have no issues with nude modeling. Personally though, I am not letting anyone see me nekkid! I don't even like to look at myself! That being said, I don't think you have to have a model body to participate but it takes a certain person. One with a lot of self confidence I would imagine. Good luck! You'll do great.

Well the technical definition is an area just off the kitchen. Keeping rooms date back to Colonial times when families would sleep in that area when the rest of the house was cold. Since the area could be heated by the kitchen stove, it often provided the only heated place in the house. So mine is a smaller living room type area that is basically in my kitchen. Here

Poll - How many Christmas trees at your house?
celeste replied to joemturner's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have a 9 ft. in the living room and a 7 ft. in the keeping room. I have a decorated but lightless tree on my dining room table then I have two 4ft. lighted trees on my front porch. The kids wanted trees in their rooms but I didn't go for it this year. Maybe I'll buy them some stuff after Christmas for next year. -
I like both but generally tend to go with white.

I do remember and it's a long complicated story but he walked into my best friends living room and I just knew. Did I mention that he walked in after his wife.....? We've been married for 12 years. -

Good idea! I take bags of stuff out of my kids rooms every now and again. The sad part is that they don't even miss it.

celeste replied to christinas19's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We're doing a potluck of sorts. I will be making the turkey and macaroni and cheese. There will be Honey Baked Ham, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, fresh green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, sweet potato pie, red velvet cake, and probably a few other things that I have forgotten. -

My mother had one a few years back. She needs the other one done now. My mother is not very active though and has never been. I think she would have probably had better results if she had been. The main thing is that the pain is gone but her got displaced 2 times after she had it done. Probably also related to another issue that she has as opposed to the surgery itself. I say if you are in pain then go for it. Many people lead better lives after having this done.
