  1. Pubs are not shipping to Borders because they aren't paying them. They currently owe publishers over 180 million dollars for books purchased.
  2. They don't have an additional room,b ut if it's nice there is the patio. When I had my baby shower there, it was a block of I think 2 or 3 hours and it was really reasonable! Yes, she does have it on a day or time that is closed unless you make special arrangements. I think mine was from like 5-7 or something. I can't remember. But you have the place to yourself and we had the lunch menu (guests pay for their food like any other place.) So, yeah, I suggest that, though with 30 people plus kids, it may be cramped.
  3. AIN'T nothin' wrong with a good trashy romance
  4. With mismanagement involved too - yes, Amazon took a big cut out of Border's readership. Why should someone go browse 100 shelves loaded the same 15 authors, when they can go online and order everyone and have it delivered? Or go to a used book store and find a better variety at a portion of the cost? (or amazon's used book list?) Border's got left behind in the innovation. They were followers and not leaders. It sucks and I hate it for them.
  5. Well, this blows. Borders Books files bankruptcy Looks like the only one that will still be open around us is in D'ville.
  6. mmm... anthony keidis... /drool
  7. Good Morning! I have a and a my baby is sick and might miss evals if she doesn't feel better by this afternoon. I get to go to work today!!
  8. Do you work outside the home? If not -- nap when the baby does, fer sure. I mean, make it a mandatory nap time for errrrbody.
  9. That's what we did at our house. During the week, I'd take care of the night time since Dh had to get up and drive all day for work. On the weekends, I'd sleep late on Saturday, he'd sleep late on Sunday, and he did the nights on both.
  10. They're partying in the streets! He did it! He resigned! :yahoo: watch live http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/41528247#41528247 From Sultan Al Qassemi's twitter; a reporter for the National: "Exact words: Omar Suleiman: Mubarak has resigned. He has delegated the responsibility of running the country to the Supreme Military Council" Another link for Reuters
  11. I'd say it's fairly normal. A lot of marriages go through it. You're tired, you're grouchy and you just wanna sleep. Try to write down Who gets up at What time, and keep it near the bed. If it's in writing, perhaps it will take the tired confusion away of who did what when. It'll pass! I'm with Hoohaa... once baby gets sleeping more, it'll straighten out. Good luck
  12. (found it!) hooray for finding sites I've already viewed in google. lol
  13. Here's another one -- LPPT, this is what I saw in my head when you're talking about all the money that went into things.. The Ruins of Detroit.. The 1st picture specifically. I was browsing for Pripyat pictures last night and found one (and now I'm sad I can't find it !!) there was a shot of what I could have sworn was a man's figure standing in the room. If I find it I'll post it.
  14. Awesome. And here's a whole wiki on AL's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masonic_Landmarks Thanks!!
  15. The place fascinates me and I get chills looking at the pictures of inside the buildings. I'd probably get completely creeped out by going though. If you go, take lotsa pictures for me :D
  16. Read this, re: that specific cornerstone. <snipped from it> I thought that was neat. Don't know what the A.L. number means though. Perhaps a Mason could enlighten.
  17. Those are too cool. Thanks for the link. I have a few friends who do urban exploration. I love the pictures they bring back but I doubt I could do it myself. Here's a great site: http://www.fallout-ue.com/locations/ and here's one of my favorites -- a tour of chernobyl as it exists today.
