Nationwide Revolt Against TSA.... "They are about ritualizing the process of making Americans submit to complete degradation at the hands of authority figures, no matter what level of humiliation that process encompasses. If you allow the government to get away with groping your children’s genitals there’s no limit to the abuse they will subsequently engage in." What do you think of Aimee Michael?

I heard today, that her Mother was also sentenced for her part in the cover-up. Eight years I think. Young people really do not think about the consequences of their actions, far too easy to believe that you are bullet-proof so to speak. I haven't followed the case since the trial began so I am not sure but I can't help but believe she was distracted, probably by a cell phone. She caused the accident that took the lives of 5 innocent people, she will have to live with that forever...maybe she can get some help to cope with what she has done. I am sure she would like to have that bri -
Growing up in Kentucky all the way thru College, we had this 4-5 times a year, usually around the Holidays and in the Spring especially at Kentucky Derby time: This is an old family recipe, passed down from my great Grandfather who carried the mail on Horseback. This was usually cooked outside by the men-folk as it is not a simple heat and eat recipe...and the men usually had to sample a little 'spirit' during the cooking process. It's called Kentucky Burgoo...similar to Brunswick stew. 2 gallons water 5 lb. stewing hen 2 lb. boneless pork, in pieces 2 lb. Game (op

Lots of folks in Paulding got new roofs due to hail damage back last spring...I must have seen 10-15 yard signs in the neighborhood within a few weeks... HVAC, you're on your own...unless you had flood damage that was insured...we did and we weren't...

DUH!! "15 Millions homes 'Underwater' = Value less than home mortgage. The economy is tough right now. The Mall parking lots are very sparsely populated! We took a drive thru the NW GA/AL mountains yesterday...in every town we visited there seemed to be lots of activity, shops and restaurants were busy. How are you faring? How are you and your family coping? Are we getting mixed messages about the true state of the economy?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Americans slowed their spending in September to the weakest pace in three months and their incomes fell for the first time in 14 months. The Commerce Department says personal spending rose at an annual rate of 0.2 percent in September. That's below the 0.5 percent gains recorded in July and August. Incomes actually fell 0.1 percent in September, following a 0.4 percent rise in August that had been pushed higher by the return of extended unemployment benefits. The weak growth in spending and incomes underscored how fragile the economy remains. Consumers facing high un

Where is this station again? I want to stop there and see if this guy tries to scam me...I have a small crack in my PU windshield so I am a good target. Directions...PLEASE!!!
-
Someone set up in a parking lot! Really? You would trust them to repair cracks in your windshield? Give your insurance company a call...they will provide you with a list of 'approved' repair facilities... Anybody can buy one of these kits off the Internet...add a card table and a box of free business cards and presto...Mobile scam artist! All these guys do is drill a small hole in your windshield, clamp on a device that pulls a vacuum on the windshield then they inject a clear, glue type substance between the layers of glass in hopes of filling the void left by the crack. I h

WTH? MORTGAGE INTEREST TAX DEDUCTION TAKEN AWAY
quicksilver replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Call it what you will...but it appears to have done something that neither party has been able to do since 2008... Rally the Electorate to a 'Common Cause'...let's begin to take back the country! We could revive the old 'Bull Moose' party for what I care...the common cause is the best effort at putting a stop to the policies we are facing today! -

I do know the Libertarian party very well...trust me on that. I don't disagree with your comment! The Independant's have diluted the vote in so many cases runoffelections become necessary...and we all know the turnout is extremely light for most runoff elections thereby allowing a few idiots to influence the outcome of close races. The merger of Libertarian and the Tea Party movement may make sense down the road but for this election cycle, up to and including 2012 the Tea Party movement needs to stay as independant as possible in order to make their concerns known...I believe this -

Commercials have one of 2 goals in mind: 1- SCARE you into buying the product or service 2- Convince you that you really need the product or service A few years ago who would have thought of a commercial for Feminine Hygene Spray -OR- Cialis...with that famous disclaimer (If you experience....seek medical attention)- OR - Folks that SCREAM at you to buy their product - OR - Stupidity in an effort to convince you that to be smart you need this product -OR- Pawn your Title, Keep Your Car, Really! Or finally the Super-Fast-Talking guy at the end of an automobile commercial...I de
