Just got off the phone with a friend of mine and an ex-coworker. he said he flew from Atlanta to Virginia last week and after going thru the 'new' x-ray machine he was still patted-down... This guy flies, somewhere every week sometimes multiple flights...more than anyone else I know, he is a Gold Medalion member for 20 years blah blah blah, and doesn't have to wait in the long security line. I'll bet there weren't any full-body scanners installed at either airport! I think this full-body pat down is only happening at the airports where the new scanners have been installed and when someone refuses the scan. IMO---This full-body scare is just that, a tactic to get everyone to go thru the scanner...

OK...so being America, the land where anyone can come in...in our infinite wisdom and paying homage to political correctness...here was our solution! 1- Set up an incompetent agency called TSA 2- Hire folks without checking their background 3- Pay them slightly more than McDonalds, while giving them what amounts to 'police powers' 4- Create huge backups at the security gates And on top of this add 'Full Body Scanners'... Perform full body physical pat-down on small children, flight attendants and pilots.... But let "Muslims" have a pass? I don't get it!

It should be away from downtown... Folks get mugged/approached just walking from the P'tree Plaza to the Dome. It looks too much like New Orleans' facility anyway....and It's beginning to smell... Keep the old one for basketball, concerts and conventions...Put a new one way up in N. Gwinnett or somewhere on the new Outer Loop, maybe Cartersville? Parking sucks, food is horrible, besides football should be played outdoors...I will never go back into downtown Atlanta!
