Not much help with the phone call. We have the opposite problem at our house. I'm always hot and he's always cold. The man carries a blanket with him to sit on the coach and I have the air on and fans going. I love cold weather and stay outside as much as I can in the winter. Summer is just way too hot for me and a really crappy time to get these stupid hot flashes !!

I wanted to say Thank You to Mr. Miller and a very nice lady that both got back to me this morning before I went to work, both assured me this would be removed from our bill and apologized that it took so long. That was a very nice Monday morning surprise.

I'm one of those people that is nicer in person. I never face a problem in public with being nasty, it just puts the other side on the defense and little to nothing get's accomplished.

So they tell you no charge when you tell them the exact problem, the service guys tell you no charge when they come out, their office, after the fact, still says it was no charge and they will have it removed and none of them know to tell the customer up front that there is indeed a charge ? Both the office and the service guys said there was not a charge unless it was like the builders in a subdivision that had to wait for vendors to do their part after they came out to turn it off, which meant GS would have to make a second trip out there to turn it back on. Update - I emailed a letter to Mr. Miller and received an answer saying they would remove the service call charge. Thank you sir, you have made my day. The first of June our power went out. My neighbors had power and our bill was paid so I called them to see if they could give me any idea on why it was off. The lady said they would have to send someone out to check the meter, I asked if there was a charge and she said no. Just so you know, I rode up & down Hiram Sudie yesterday 3 times and each time I drove slow and looked for the helmet. Now I couldn't see down in the ditches and gulleys very well but I did look for anything red in the woods and underbrush. I was in dress clothes and wearing high heels but I would have trekked in the rain to get it for you or asked for help on here if it was a deep area I couldn't get to. I cared but I just didn't see it.. I am glad you found it though.

I started getting Bank of America calls last week for a person I have never heard of and the woman kept asking me the same question 10 different ways. May I speak with --- ----. You have the wrong number. Do you know --- ---- ? No I don't Do you know anyone with that last name ? No I do not Do you know a (first name) with a last name of ---- (maiden name) ? No I do not Do you know anyone with that first name ? No I do not etc. I finally got mad and asked if she was slow to catch on, she has the wrong number, the wrong family, no such friends etc. It is someone here in Paulding

My husband was tied to the bathroom yesterday, he thought it was something he ate then last night the gas started with him too. He feels a little better this morning but I talked to him a few minutes ago and he said the gas is still happening. I was about to think all this stress lately really was killing me. I'm sorry you have it too but I'm glad it's something going around and not just me.

I have had this for two days, I'm not "feeling sick" but after even the smallest bite of anything I bloat up and the gas hurts in my chest and back, I don't have indigestion or anything just bouts of painful gas. I have been trying to drink more water and less Sprite thinking maybe it would help. Does that sound like yours ? Is your worse after you eat ?

Acidophilus - It will replace the bad bacteria in your intestines with good bacteria and check your system when you are back in balance. Our house is never without this stuff, it works. It is a probiotic not an herb or some type supplement. I only buy the name brand Nature's Bounty at Walmart because I saw a report on fillers and this one has the least for it's price range. It's a white bottle with a green rectangle box at the top that says Natures Bounty. Pic at top of post. Sometimes we will take 3 at one time and 2 about 4 hours later, if it was bad food or a stomach virus.

My husband always wants Rice A Roni with pork chops but I let the rice turn really dark in the butter. (almost burnt but not quite) I stir the dry seasoning pkg. into the butter / fried rice mix before adding the water. To us it tastes different (much better) than just barely browning the rice. It's the only thing I can almost burn and it makes it taste better.

Next time you fry chicken or pork chops add a little of the dry potatoes to the flour, it makes the crust lighter and more flaky but doesn't taste like the potatoes.

When I was little and my Mom would make black eyed peas she would take them out of the fridge the next day, thinly chop onions in them, add mayo, stir it together and eat it cold. Surprisingly it was pretty good and wanting to be like Mom I started eating it too but haven't done that in years. Now I want some.
