Edited : Since Miss Jesse is getting visitors and calls right now I think I am going to wait until she comes home. She doesn't eat right sometimes and I will make her some containers of things that can be frozen, thawed and heated quickly for her. I'll call and see what she might want or really likes to eat other than Fatback's and fried foods. lol (I can go pick her up lunch there one day also) I was thinking things like beef stew and chicken pot pies, what else, give me some ideas please.

Free is a great deal. My neighbor wanted one for their kids this summer but never could afford it. If it is ok I would love to get one for them. Thank you for letting us know.

$2,000 a month would be awesome. -
And a cute new shirt.

Not yet, I wanted to let Betty Crocker know first.

seasoning. The ones I bought were Caesar. I opened the box, pulled out the pasta and boiled it. Next I emptied the box, opened the pouch marked "seasoning mix" poured it into the water and oil I already had together and guess what ? It was the crouton and parmesan topping in that pouch, no other pouch in the box. Yes, the box says to open and mix the seasoning pouch and a later step is to open the crouton & parmesan topping. I got them today at FL buy 1 get 1 free. I opened the other box and it is the same way. 1 pouch that says seasoning but you can feel the little

I went down Morningside yesterday and saw The Salvation Army van stopping and giving all those people prepared lunches that were cleaning out their homes. It was great to see that and they looked so thankful. (and tired)

http://www.saltinstitute.org/uses-benefits...sumer-salt-tips Other "miracle" uses of salt Salt responds to a variety of emergencies and baffling problems around the home. Extinguishing grease fires - Keep a box of salt handy at your stove and oven and if a grease fire flares up, cover the flames with salt. Do not use water on grease fires; it will splatter the burning grease. Also a handful of salt thrown on flames from meat dripping in barbecue grills will reduce the flames and deaden the smoke without cooling the coals as water does. Drip-proofing candles - Soak new candl

The officer called back and said he could pull it out of the road himself so it must not be very big.

Heard it on the scanner and didn't want anyone to go that way and have to turn around.

Ok, you made me go downstairs and look, it's OdoBan, without the dash. Now I have gotten my exercise for the day, I hadn't planned on getting exercise until later in the day.. This stuff has more warnings on it than, I would believe, arsenic does... Don't breathe it, don't get it on your skin, it causes irreversible eye damage etc. you need a Haz Mat suit to use it.
-
Also try Odo-Ban just for the odor. When we were looking to buy our house someone showing the house locked a cat in the garage area and it peed everywhere. Sheeeew !!! We tried everything then someone told us about Odo-Ban, it stunk but the cat pee odor was completely gone the next day. I have some I will share if any of you guys want to use it. I live in Hiram and can drop it by today. It says to use a mask to spray it but I think I have some of the painters masks downstairs also. (not positive but I will look)

I think someone is trying to put me in a nursing home
tranquility replied to Sadie612's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Did you get AARP stuff first ? I am and my husband thinks it is hilarious, the nursing home might be the next step. I used to ask for a weekend pass to Brawner's for Christmas but they closed before anyone took me seriously. -
Maybe they are spelling with an accent.
-
That's true. If they would go with "if you run, you are guilty" it would solve a lot of problems and we wouldn't have to pitch in and pay to house the ones they catch. Problem is there's too much "catch and release" going on...This ain't fishing !

I have always thought that if you run from the police they should just shoot you, why chase them ? Ok, at least with rubber bullets.

I'm sure there are so many people calling them to see if their water is going to be shut off that I wanted them to know they stood less chance today of getting a live person on the phone. Maybe they are making recordings "No, we are not cutting off everyone's water in the county", "Yes, you still have to pay your water bill this month", "Yes, we are the water dept. but we didn't put all that water in your neighborhood". Why do you guys think they are closed today ? Or what do you think made them lose power ? This will either be fun to read or start 300 more rumors.

From the P.Cty gov website. PAULDING COUNTY WATER DEPARTMENT 9/22/2009 The Paulding County Water Department will be closed September 23, 2009. The Water Department is experiencing a power outage. ...

Anyone that needs immediate work, try the clean up companies. I called a couple bigger ones this morning, they are so booked with the floods that they may need to hire some people to get through this and it will take awhile to get it all done. They are already slammed and look at how many they can't even start because of houses being under water. Just a thought.
