  1. That sounds pretty, we need a pic. It's not a hijack, I figured out my answer. I'm going to take a couple things I have with me next time I go to make sure the colors match, the picture makes me not sure of the exact colors.
  2. I may have to go back, this time I'll take a couple things to make sure it matches. I didn't think of that until after I posted.
  3. They had a Grand Opening sign up so I don't think they have been open too long. Not positive how long though.
  4. You are a silly girl. I think I have seen some of it and love the moosies. I would like to see pics of the final decorating "up there" though, you should post some, it would be a long drive to see it in person.
  5. I thought the prices were good. This canister (with the figs on it) was marked $6.00 and the lid fits tight. It's in my kitchen now. It's a nice size too. Not sure if you can see it real good, I had set it on the end of the table so I wouldn't forget it. There was an apple one also.
  6. Beside Rodney's in New Hope. They have really pretty things from antique furniture pieces to baby items and different styles of home decorations. I want you guys opinion on a set I saw today that would match my kitchen but I'm not sure of the size. The lady was nice enough to let me take a picture so I could look at it at home. I actually took a few pics for a friend that's thinking of putting together a book of "quaint shops" I don't have a lot of kitchen counter space, would this look better in the diningroom ? I have reds, orange shades, mustard colors, etc on different t
  7. The economy is taking a toll on many families, I pray it turns around soon.
  8. Thank you for sharing the wonderful news. We serve an awesome God.
  9. Yesterday I cooked like it was winter. Fresh collard greens, fresh giant limas, fried squash, fried green tomatoes and cornbread. We had ham steak with it last night and pork chops with it tonight.
  10. Johnboy was great. We are definately glad we found him to put new brakes and rotors on our truck. His price was fair and exactly the same as we were quoted up front.
  11. I pray your husband will recover with a new respect for his health and that you will be comforted through this new situation. You have certainly been through more than one person should have to face in life but you have done it with such strong faith, strength and grace. You are an inspiration to others through your most difficult times and I pray the Lord will always keep you under his wings. Psalm 91.
  12. Definately Pasta Bella ! Always enough left over for later.
  13. He looks like he was having a blast !! They turned out great. I am sure he will always treasure this experience.
  14. Awesome pictures !! I love the last one on the steps.
  15. Another one we watch is NCIS : Los Angeles with LL Cool J and Chris O' Donnell, it came on last night (Tuesday). CSI Miami is good too.
  16. Fast Forward - Thursday's on ABC or Larkrise to Candleford - Monday nights on PBA. I found Larkrise when there were only 5 left but it just started over this week with 2008 shows so I hope I get to see all of them. Fast Forward is pretty interesting too.
  17. Beautiful !! That hard work paid off. I read that if you put a little salt in the water, fresh flowers will live longer. (and taste better )
  18. I'm sorry, I meant to respond to that question earlier. I don't know her street (#) address but will find out tomorrow. I will tell her tomorrow that you send her hugs.
  19. I keep an eye on her, I just never post it. The only reason I posted today was because I know several people are taking her things and didn't want all of us to take the same thing and to let everyone know how she is doing. For those taking things, here is what I have for her already....... 3- 24oz. bowls of Hamburger soup 3- 24 oz. bowls of Beef Stew 2 loaf pans of baked spaghetti (she loves spaghetti) 1- loaf pan of chicken pot pie I'm still cooking so I'll take her corn muffins, chopped onion and she wanted boiled cabbage (it's cooking, shewww) She wanted some
  20. I just got back home and Miss Jesse is in a lot of pain from her surgeries. I went there first to see what she could eat and she wanted "Chick-a-lay" soup and a strawberry milkshake. I crack up at her calling it chick-a-lay. Her throat was too raw from the tubes to be able to chew and swallow but I fed her the soup and milkshake ok. She was very hungry but we had to go slow so she wouldn't get sick. Bless her heart she is freezing, covered in blankets and one is an electric blanket and has a heater on beside her also. Her son went to get her medicine so hopefully she will
  21. I'm taking her some lunch here shortly and will cook this afternoon to freeze her a few things for the week. (I'll ask her today what she would like to have) Financially I can't do very much this week so if anyone else can help I am sure she would appreciate it.
  22. Somebody ate your fries !!! You are right, it seems like when one thing is off several things behind it happen also.
  23. That's what I was thinking too. At home she will be by herself, right now she has a lot of activity with people in and out of her room.
