No, I wouldn't do it but we have always respected each other with things like "checking in" during the day. It was easier because we were both on the road and both had nextel so a quick beep beep and the other one knows you are ok and where you are, it never felt like a chore or invasion of privacy, just communication. She had minor surgery on her arm, it was to do with the port they put in during her most recent surgery. It's not fun to start preparing a big meal and realize something is missing. Just for fun I thought it would be nice to make a last minute list to make sure no one had to run out to a store tomorrow. Eggs - for dressing, deviled eggs, baked goods mayo- for pasta salads and those late night turkey sandwiches bread / rolls sage / poultry seasoning and all other spices you may use butter / margarine coffee / milk / sugar / creamer Today my last minute list is extra eggs, bell pepper and cucumbers. What are some of your ideas ???

I buy an herb seasoning (Liptons or Knorr vegetable) take two sticks of butter at room temp mix the herb seasoning in and make a log, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer until I'm ready then cut off rounds and stuff it inside the skin and it seasons it really well. I also buy the fresh herb mix of thyme, rosemary and basil poultry blend and put it under the skin and the rest inside the bird. I sit the turkey on top of celery and carrots or onions to cook so it's not right on the bottom of the pan in the butter or juices. Just baste carefully so the oil or butter d

One of my favorites was a candle making kit then I dropped the boiler of hot wax in the sink and it splashed on me so I turned on the cold water. My father was not at all happy when he had to take the pipes apart to get the hardened wax out.
