This Is Dedicated To The ones I Love, On P.com
ivylove replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I am going to tell my children that I love them no matter how old they get, whether they like it or not. I don't understand why anyone would vote negative, on this thread, (unless I am missing some, unknown to me, meaning here), but I went and gave you a positive vote. -
I have always heard that you don't have to pay any taxes on yard sale items, because they are sold at a loss, and you have already (previously) paid the taxes on that item when you bought it.

My prayers being sent up also.

Maybe people, in this area, need to ask for added patrol of this area, by the S.O.
-
Maybe a stupid question here, but what does the IBA stand for? I really haven't been following this, and at this point don't have an opinion on this yet. And Winston, do you have any links, ref: the New Mexico/Arizona thing you mentioned above?

I'm guessing that is because they would have to include the luxury models like Mercedes-Benz, etc.? And why aren't commodities on this? I think that the "average" person (excluding the wealthy) are still spending, just as much, if not more, on some of these "commodities", as many of them are the basic necessities. Most folks, excluding the wealthy, are having less and less to just spend on anything but the necessities. So I guess this scale is "just" to see where the middle class and poor are.

Why are autos, gasoline stations and building materials excluded from this?

Yeah, I remember a few winters that were really, really warm. I don't mind the warmer winters so much, however. I am also looking forward to having some cooler fall type weather. But, honestly, I don't think that we have been having much fall or spring time weather. It seems to be only a few days of fall or spring like temps, to me. It is like we are going from winter to summer and back to winter. I hope that doesn't happen again this year. I would love some time with 60, 70 and 80 degree temps.

That was quite a storm. It is pretty much over, where I am at now. I am glad to have the rain, as I remember a summer or two ago, when we were having such a bad drought. It seems like we have made up for that this year, with the abundance of rain we have had. I think I need to watch the weather more, I wasn't expecting that storm, at all. Here's a cute old commercial I found on you tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtzGXcPTLjI

WOW! That is way to dang hot! I honestly believe our summers have been getting hotter and hotter.
-
Good Morning everyone, the storm woke me up also around 3 am. It has lightened up a bit now, but it got pretty intense there for a bit. I can't seem to go back to sleep either.

Or how about this in place of bicycles? This way they can ride above the highway. I also believe these could also help solve some of the problem of how to get people from their houses to the main monorail stations, etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfDVnjRnGL4

I can't get this off my mind either. I have sorta been avoiding this thread a bit, because I hate so badly to read the bad news. My heart is breaking for these people, as well. I am sooooo sorry about the little boy. This will be at the top of my prayer list for a while.
-
So sorry to read about this, I will be praying also.

I agree NINH! I would love to see a rail/bus system of some kind! I don't see why it couldn't be self sustaining. And as many on here already know, I would prefer a safe, scenic, friendly, economical, clean, space saving, and beautiful monorail, like this one. Wouldn't this be a great way to travel!!! At least if our tax money is spent on this, we could all get some benefit from it directly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtSITIYyO6k

I was wondering the same thing! Well, whatever they were in such a hurry to get to won't even matter now.
-
I am so saddened to hear the news of the 6 year old. At six they are still just babies. Now I am praying even harder for the other 2.
-
I am still praying for these people. I sure hope they are going to be ok. Has anyone heard anything else? I am worried about these children especially.
