What bothers me Pubby was the 14% turn out because in is a known fact that this county is being ran by a group of politicians that have been elected by in many cases less than a 14% turnout. Take the mayor of Hiram Doris Devey who also serves on the Paulding County Airport Authority as well as the Industrial Building Authority in the past election she received if my memory serves me 98 votes, By garnering those 98 votes she actually had a vote to approve a contract to make our airport a commercial passenger facility, Or how about the mayor of Dallas Boyd Austin... Dropped by to see him this morning and he seemed a lot better to me. The doctor still had not made the rounds and he still does not know when the other surgery will be scheduled. Pubby when this airport debacle first broke in October 2013 I had a choice of which side to be on. I chose the side of men who stood by the commitments that were made to the citizens of Paulding County and did not waiver from those promises. Some folks agreed that it was okay to break promises, I think a mans word is his bond I realize that you are not of the same opinion and that is okay.
