You forget one little item. David Austin stated in the October 2013 Commission meeting that he kept it from Pownall because he could not be trusted. That lady is on the BOC tape. I predict that David Austin and David Carmichael will both be voted out of office, if not out and out recalled before election time rolls around. And there will be indictments on criminal charges no later than next spring. It has happened in other places where commercial passenger service has been proposed without the will of the citizens.

I think this issue should be brought to a vote of the registered voters of this county on the November ballot. What better way to resolve it.

As I recall you also worked for some very respected law firms in Atlanta some of which the City of Atlanta uses as well as the litigants here in Paulding County. From the information that is available I am of the opinion that the county is in violation if they pursue this course of action. Was it you or someone else that said earlier that there was no restrictions on the deeds? Oh BTW were you not previously employed by the law firm representing the county? Can this possibly be a reason for a bias opinion?

A majority of the land for the airport was purchased using imminent domain, Heck some at the very entrance was purchased this way The record will reflect that some was even purchased using the superior court of Paulding county.

Honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior goes a long ways with me and my elected officials. A man should do what he has campaigned on, and his word should be his bond. A politician should never betray the trust of the citizens. Good night!!!

How much will those tax incentives reduce my taxes next year?

David and Boyd have gotten greedy and power hungry, there power has went to their heads and they have forgotten that they are to be servants to the people, all the people, not just the people on the chamber of commerce, But to all of the people case in point look at all the committees they set on that affects the citizens of Paulding County. I supported David Austin both times he ran for Commission Chairman, But never will I ever support any member of the Austin family ever again for election to any office. Last IBA meeting Jamie Gilbert announced two new business coming to Paulding one only expanding the other a new business and both got tax abatements, interoll pays no taxes for the first ten years ronchi tax abatement. WTH is going on??????we are not collecting taxes on these folks it is costing us money. How is that easing our property taxes?

Yes it can be judged Cobb has a good general aviation airport but hey still have higher property taxes. Atlanta, Fulton County and Clayton County all Have HJIA and they have some of the highest property taxes in the State and a abundance of crime and street gangs along with failing schools and plenty of corruption. Get real Beach Bum property taxes are higher in Fulton and Clayton than they are here with all the major business and airports. Explosive growth does not reduce taxes it increases taxes All you have to do is look around you Cobb County and Fulton County are some very good examples. Name me one city that has opened a commercial airport and reduced taxes as a result
