I went and was not impressed at all, got caught in the rain sat out the little storm, finally got a Bar B Q sandwich, but did not have any luck getting anything to drink. Nope Todd Pownall And David Barnett voted against using tax dollars to support this project This was the issue that caused the friction that ultimately caused David to keep the airport issue secret from Todd. All you have to do is think back and look at the videos. This was one rare time that Barnett voted against David Austin. This was not a NIMBY issue, It was a issue of using tax dollars to fund a Movie Studio without a referendum, they funneled the money through the IBA with a bond and the tax payers were the co signers, And now they are having to pay the money. News Junky this entire deal started at this Board of commissioners meeting the discussions starts at around 14.25 and is really worth the time to listen at the commissioners at work. Please revue the list of folks that has been selected to serve on the Steering Committee for the Airport Authority And the Industrial Building Authority. If you know any of those folks who have been appointed and you are or have been doing business with any of these folks give then a call and remind then that they need to be open and transparent. And that a large group of folks are watching them to insure that all citizens of Paulding County are being fairly represented.

That is what ticked me off so much, the Austin boys and some others (citizens) and non resident non taxpayers had the opportunity to address both committees, but the Paulding County citizens that were present could not even ask one question. What little I was able to hear of the IBA meeting not one word was mentioned about the pending law suit against the IBA.

Yes my neighbor and myself appealed and both won, I have had a reduction twice through appeal. pretty simple procedure, but be ready and prepared. It helps if you will raise a little ruckus at the BOC meetings before the appeal., the appeal can be heard before the superior court of Paulding County if you so desire. Maybe you can help the folks in Yorkville and the citizens along 278 and the elementary school right down the road , and the other residents in the area understand how the Fire Station that was proposed AND VOTED on to be along Highway 278 was moved up to the airport facility a half mile away into what will become a very congested area and difficult to navigate due to traffic congestion?
