3 Officers Injured in Police Station Shooting
crossroads replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The same thing happened in an Atlanta courtroom. Brian Nichols, an inmate knocked out the deputy, got her gun, and shot and killed her. Then he killed the judge, court reporter and wounded a deputy. Then he hijacked a car and went on the run. Anyone remember that? Were the officers that had custody women and over powered? Hummm? -

Why Do Some People Despise Their Neighbors
crossroads replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I didn't know southerners hated the other southern states. I think it's all the transplants. PM, My relatives on my dad's side are from the Boston area and they all love the south. I have spent a big chunk of time up there too. Bostonian folks were for the most part are fascinated with the southern culture and love our accents, kindness and hospitality. Nothing like that awful video of a few Mississippians lacking an education you posted over and over. I am sure you can find the opposite side of the coin up north too. Southerners are proud to be southern. We may joke around but we -

Why Do Some People Despise Their Neighbors

I have the best neighbors anyone could ask for. There is nothing I don't like about them. They are an elderly couple that have been married for 62 years. It's so sad now because he had dementia and is going down hill fast. She is the pure salt of the earth and a wonderful woman. -
Rest in Peace General Norman.

What i meant to say I heard on the news last week that a death row inmate gained weight to be too fat to execute. He was granted a commuted sentence of life without parole. I also know a former DR inmate. Three hours before his execution he, too, was granted a commuted sentence to life. We were really close in middle and high school. He was my pianist at my wedding after high school. Shortly afterwards he killed a man, and is now paying for it. He was featured on the Nation Geographic show" Lockup". His name is David Samuel Crowe. -

I know a guy on death row got his sentence commuted to life because he gained too much weight in prison for execution by lethal injection. -

Not every gun owner is a middle aged white guy, paranoid, or doomsday preppers. It is a right laid down by constitutional law. We want to keep it that way. Plain and simple. Paranoid stereotyping on the other hand is dangerous and wrong.

My point exactly. If you knew my last name you would know I probably am already on the no fly list. I have an unusual name and have been asked about it many times. I had to stop facebooking for a while because every of it. Too many Abdula's and Mohammads and Arabs wanted to be my friend.

Georgia Town Ordering Gun Ownership Undaunted by Massacre
crossroads replied to barrycdog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My dad and many friends live in Kennesaw, I believe there you have to purchase a gun permit, not actually own a gun. Or so I've been told over and over again. -
This quote stands up still today. Our founders had the foresight to know there may be trouble down the line. And tyranny is knocking at our door with the thought of banning currently legal firearms. You said it right, enforcement effort needs to be top of the agenda. The department of ATF has to do their job keeping guns from felons, so let THEM do THEIR jobs instead of breathing down the necks of legal gun owners. Do you think our government would use nuclear weapons on it's citizens? I don't think so, even if there was a second revolution. I don't think anything like that will ever
