This thread put me in the mood to start decorating. I am expecting about thirty or more family and friends for a Cajun Christmas dinner. I wanted to mix it up instead of the same old turkey and ham thing.

I know the pain you feel. My dad had the same problem as your dad. It's been six years post surgery and he's doing well. I hope you have the same outcome. I can't imagine loosing both parents in a year. You have my deep condolences.

I never open the door to someone I don't know. I let them know someone is home so they won't get the idea to break in. My dog's barking helps too.
