So no one loses out on Deen's remarks? They hire film crews to shoot the cooking shows. There are producers, lighting, sound, make up, hair, wardrobe, camera operators, and many more individuals who make the show. I doubt if they are all being absorbed into the Food Networks family. People publish magazines, print and ship them out for the public. Same goes for her books. They don't just appear out of the air. Someone has to do the grunt work, now there is less work for them to do. To say this scandal has not impacted the jobs of people working behind the scenes is just not hitting the mark.

The place of my fondest memories growing up is now a subdivision called Hickory Lakes. If any p.comers live there, Ruth Lane is named in memory of my dear mother. I did go back there when they started building, my home was gone and about a hundred others took it's place.

The question is, how many people are out of a job because of Deen and the media reactions? Aside from the right or wrong of the situation, innocent people are paying the price of her stupid behavior. I feel for those people, not Paula. The Deen empire is rich, it won't hurt her when it comes to paying the bills.

I am wondering about how many jobs have been lost in the wake of the Paula Deen scandal? Have any of the news outlets broached the question of jobs lost because of something that happened in the past? How many of the people out of work are those of color? This is a witch hunt and the political correctness police are out for her blood. I seriously doubt if the news investigators have tallied up the new members of the unemployment line.

The only time anyone in my household needs my attention is when I fire up the computer. I bet the trash does get taken out sooner rather than later.
