    I always stop at the light on Rosedale too if there is a bike rider there.But on a highway I just slow down and proceed with caution not stop.

    There is no use arguing with the people that think a flashing yellow light means stop.If that was the case then everyone would have to stop at the flashing yellow light on Rosedale Road and Silver Comet trail.If a traffic light is malfunctioning and flashing,drivers must proceed BASED on the color they are facing.If the driver is facing a yellow flashing light ,the driver may proceed with caution;if the driver is facing a red flashing signal,the driver must stop and wait until it is safe to proceed.
