That's basically what I was talking about the other day. Someone I know doesn't work at all, but she reports self-employed income in order to get the EIC with 3 kids. When I was still working, I knew some folks at work that didn't have children but "borrowed" SS numbers to claim to get a bigger refund. The abuse is rampant and the government knows it. . And I disagree. The DO need to go to jail. When they sign that document, they are swearing to tell the truth and they're not. They are lying to the government to get free money. MY money!

You wouldn't believe the people that use "granite" instead of "granted" and I can't believe they think that's the correct word.

Been there, done that. 3 months and 3 phone calls. I have NEVER leased a modem. They had the nerve to tell me I would have to file a report with the modem number on it. I told them I didn't have to do a damn thing, they needed to take it off my bill. I had to get a supervisor on the phone to finally get it fixed. AT&T did the same thing a couple of years back. They just hope you won't notice. Imagine how much extra revenue that is each month.

They're only taxing the middle class, the backbone of this country. The poor will pay noting and continue to use the ER.

If you don't have a job then you don't have to file. But let me tell you how it works. I know someone who claimed self-employed to the tune of around $4000 a year. She has 3 children and she's single. They're on Medicaid. So after filing for all the low income credits, she gets somewhere between $5000-$6000 in a refund from the government. MORE than she claims to make. And she still takes her kids to the ER. And the bottom line? She'll let the government take her "penalty" out of her free money. And she's young. If she gets sick she goes to the ER. And she's only ONE of how

That's just not going to happen. The illegals will still use it. And the poor? They're not going to buy insurance. And they won't have to pay a penalty because they either don't file or they get money back from the IRS.

Welcome to Obamacare. Mine keeps going up as well although mine is provided through my retirement, it still went up $200 a month last year, due to Obamacare. Can't wait until January. Next year I go on Medicare. I can't wait to see what my Part B will be. And then they'll gouge me for an RX plan. Whoopee!!

Speaking of walking on the road, out here on Hwy 61 and Hiram-Sudie, they literally walk on the white line on the road, in the dark with black clothing on. Scares me to death when I go past one, because you can't see them until you're up on 'em and then past them. All it would take is a couple of inches to the right and I could easily hit someone. That's how I feel. You don't leave your children behind to stay with a known abusive man. I would never leave my kids under any circumstance! And I just can't believe the "mothers" that just leave their kids for someone else to take care of. DFACS and the foster care system are overwhelmed. And most of it is because of drugs.
